Abstract: A loss prevention system including a sensor apparatus within the loss prevention system, the sensor apparatus being configured to detect an anomalous event and provide a signal; and a group of point-of-sale terminals, wherein at least one point-of-sale terminal from the group of point-of-sale terminals is configured to receive the signal; determine that the at least one point-of-sale terminal needs to act on the signal; and perform an action at the at least one point-of-sale terminal based on determining that the at least one point-of-sale terminal needs to act on the signal.
