摘要： A cable protector includes a channel recessed into, and extending along the upper surface of a base. A number of dividers can be removably inserted into the channel from above to divide the channel into a plurality of tracks for carrying cables that can be inserted from above. Alternatively, a removable tray with a desired number of dividers can be placed as a unit in the channel, instead of inserting individual dividers. A lid covers the channel and dividers to provide a surface for traffic over the cable protector. Sets of complementary fasteners, such a tabs and keyed slots, can be employed to removably secure the dividers in the channel of the cable protector.

摘要： A modular cable bridging device for protecting cables. A plurality of ramps and central members are provided, each having a respective sidewall. The central members are formed with a passageway therethrough for receiving a cable. A ramp connector extends along at least a portion of the midsection of the sidewall of each ramp. A complementary central member connector on the midsection of the opposing sidewalls of each central member slidably engage the ramp connectors. The ramp is thus secured to the central member and bridges the cable when the ramp sidewalls are positioned parallel and adjacent to the central member sidewalls and the ramp connector and central member connector are slid together in a direction parallel to the sidewalls. In addition, the central members can be secured to one another with an interconnect member formed by two opposing ramp connectors that slidably engage the complementary central member connector in the manner described above. Each ramp is also provided with end connectors. Additional ramps and central members can thus be added end-to-end with the connecting and receiving members engaging one another in a laterally stable manner.

摘要： A plurality of modular cable protectors can be removably connected in series by complementary end connectors at each end. Each cable protector also includes a number of tool engagement features that that can be removably engaged by a tool that enables a user to exert an upward force to disengage the end connectors on adjacent cable protectors. For example, the tool engagement features can be slots in the top surface of the cable protector with undercuts adjacent to the lower ends of the slots. A tool with vertical rods is manually inserted into the slots to disengage the cable protectors. Horizontal projections at the bottom of the vertical rods engage the undercuts in the slots, and allow the user to disengage adjacent cable protectors by lifting upward on the tool.
