摘要: A cover restricting mechanism (8) is adapted for use in a foldable electronic device (9). The foldable electronic device includes a cover (10). The cover restricting mechanism includes a follower (31), a housing (20), and a restricting mechanism (32). The follower is provided at one end of the cover. The housing has a cavity (21). The restricting mechanism is provided in the cavity of the housing, and when the cover is rotated to an open position, the follower rotates with the cover, and the restricting mechanism retards/slows the progress of the follower, thereby helping the cover to come more gently to a full, open position.

摘要: A carrying structure (100) for a portable electronic device (10) includes a snap module (20) and a strap (30) with two connecting ends (301, 302). The portable electronic device has a mounting hole (1012) in one end of the portable electronic device for receiving the snap module and has a strap hole (1013) defined in the other end of portable electronic device. The snap module comprises a pressing element (201), a snap element (202), a knuckle element (203) and an elastic element (204). One strap connecting end is connected to the knuckle element and the other strap connecting end is fixed to the strap hole, the snap element is latched with the knuckle element, the elastic element has a first end resisting the snap element, and an opposite second end resisting the pressing element, the knuckle element and the snap element are unlockable by pressing the pressing element.

摘要: A portable electronic device includes a carrying structure and defines a mounting hole and an opposite strap hole. The carrying structure includes a snap module received in the mounting hole, having a pressing element, a snap element, a knuckle element and an elastic element, and a strap. The strap has two strap connecting ends connecting to the knuckle element and the strap hole. The pressing element has two extending portions, each of which has a wedge-shaped surface. The snap element has three wedge-shaped engaging portions. One engaging portion engages the knuckle element, latching the snap element with the knuckle element. The knuckle element and the snap element are unlockable by pressing the pressing element, where the one engaging portion disengages from the knuckle element, and anther two engaging portions slide aslant along the wedge-shaped surfaces. The elastic element has two ends resisting the snap element and the pressing element.

摘要: A cover restricting mechanism (8) is adapted for use in a foldable electronic device (9). The foldable electronic device includes a cover (10). The cover restricting mechanism includes a projection (31), a housing (20), and a stopping element (32). The projection is provided at one end of the cover. The housing has an inner surface and a corresponding cavity. The stopping element is provided at the inner surface of the housing, and, when the foldable electronic device is in an open position the projection abuts the stopping element. The stopping element is made of an elastomeric material and is configured for slowing the movement of the projection and, thus, the cover once abutment occurs.

摘要: A hinge assembly (100), for joining a flip cover section (110) to a body section (120) of a foldable electronic device (102), includes a shaft (1), at least one pin (2), a spring (3) and a sleeve (4). The shaft includes a body portion (11) and a resisting portion (14). The resisting portion is disposed at one end of the body portion, and the body portion has at least one pin hole therein. Each pin is engaged with a respective pin hole of the shaft. The spring is placed around the resisting portion of the shaft. The sleeve includes a first portion (42) and a second portion (43). The second portion defines at least one sliding slot (44). Each pin protrudes out from a corresponding sliding slot. The hinge assembly is configured to permit a maximum angle (˜160 degrees) between the cover section and the body section.

摘要: A foldable electronic device (100) has at least two components hinged together by a hinge assembly. The foldable electronic device includes: a cover (10), a rotating element (20), an elastic element (30) and a frame (40), a set of magnetic elements (50) and a body (60). The rotating element has two notches defined therein. The elastic element has a latching portion. The elastic element is fixed in the rotating element. The frame slidably engages with the rotating element. The frame is engaged with the cover. The rotating element rotatably connects with the body. The magnetic elements make the cover close relative to the body. When the latching portion of the rotating element engages in different notches of the rotating element, magnetic force between the magnetic elements decreases so as to open the cover relative to the body.

The sleeve includes a first end engaged with the second cam end of the cam, and a second end abutting the second end of the shaft. The torsion spring has an inner finger (242) coupled to the shaft, and an outer finger (241) coupled to the sleeve. The compression spring surrounds the intermediate portion of the cam.
