摘要: Methods and apparatus for determining a unique audience exposed to media while reducing memory resources of a computing device are disclosed herein. An example apparatus includes memory; instructions in the apparatus; and processor circuitry to execute the instruction to, based on impression requests from a plurality of client devices via a network, log a plurality of impressions corresponding to media accessed at the client devices; generate a product by multiplying a count of the impressions by a square of a count of registered users of a database proprietor exposed to the media; generate a quotient by dividing the product by a count of demographic impressions logged by the database proprietor; and determine a unique audience size based on a square root of the quotient.

摘要: Methods, apparatus, systems, and articles of manufacture are disclosed to rectify false set top box tuning data. Disclosed examples methods include identifying, by executing an instruction with a processor, in the return path data, first tuning data corresponding to a first group of set top boxes, the first group of set top boxes classified as associated with machine events, determining, by executing an instruction with a processor, a ratio between first tuning events in the return path data and second tuning events in the return path data, the first tuning events attributed to the first group of the set top boxes, the second tuning events attributed to a second group of the set top boxes classified at not associated with machine events, and in response to the ratio satisfying a threshold during a time interval, removing second tuning data associated with the time interval from the first tuning data.

摘要: Methods and apparatus to calibrate media ratings based on return path data are disclosed. An apparatus includes a processor and memory including instructions that, when executed, cause the processor to: determine an initial rating for the media provided in a first geographic area based on return path data (RPD) tuning information obtained from RPD devices in subscriber households in the first geographic area; determine a first panelist rating for the media provided in a second geographic area based on first panel tuning information obtained from first metering devices in a first subset of panelist households in the second geographic area; determine a nonsubscriber calibration factor based on the first panelist rating; and determine a final rating for the media in the first geographic area by modifying the initial rating based on the nonsubscriber calibration factor.

摘要: A disclosed example includes: at least one memory; instructions; and processor circuitry to execute the instructions to at least: determine a first sum of estimated individual cardinalities of audience members of first and second media platforms; determine a second sum of estimated pairwise cardinalities of ones of the audience members belonging to both the first and second media platforms; and generate lower and upper bound estimates of a deduplicated audience size based on the first and second sums; and send the deduplicated audience size to a computing device via a network communication.

摘要: Ensemble classification algorithms having subclass resolution are disclosed. An example disclosed apparatus includes a fingerprint generator to generate a fingerprint of class probabilities of each of a plurality of samples, a distribution creator to create a distribution of the samples based on the generated fingerprints, and a distribution applicator to apply the distribution to a population to predict sub-class probabilities of each of the population.

摘要: Example methods, apparatus, and articles of manufacture are disclosed to estimate population reach. An example apparatus includes an association controller to generate a tree association corresponding to a union of a first margin of media and a second margin of the media; and one or more commercial solvers to determine first multipliers by solving first equations corresponding to panelist impressions and panelist audience totals, the second margin, or the union; perform first parallel computations with a processor to determine second multipliers to solve second equations corresponding to the tree association using the first multipliers; discard the first multipliers; perform second parallel computations to determine third multipliers by solving third equations corresponding to the tree association using database proprietor impression totals; and determine an estimate for a population reach of the media for at least one of the first margin, the second margin, or the union based on the third multipliers.

摘要: Methods and apparatus to adjust media impressions based on media impression notification loss rates in network communications are disclosed. An example method includes determining a first network media impression adjustment factor based on a quantity of lost test media impression notifications for a first network in a geographic region; determining an adjusted quantity of first network user-accessed media impression notifications for the first network by applying the first network media impression adjustment factor to a quantity of successfully received user-accessed media impression notifications to generate a product and weighting the product based on a market share of first subscribers corresponding to the first network in the geographic region; and storing the weighted adjusted quantity of the user-accessed media impression notifications in association with a media identifier to credit corresponding media with a quantity of media accesses corresponding to the weighted adjusted quantity of the user-accessed media impression notifications.

摘要: Methods and apparatus to generate audience metrics using third-party privacy-protected cloud environments. In some examples, an apparatus comprising a model generator to generate an individualization model based on truth data indicating first true users exposed to media via first panelist client devices, a model analyzer to produce user probabilities for second panelist client devices based on the individualization model, the user probabilities indicating likelihoods of second true users being exposed to media via the second panelist client devices, a data modifier to: select a user probability from the user probabilities based on an impression, the impression associated with at least one feature and a selected device from the second panelist client devices, the user probability associated with the at least one feature and the selected device, the user probability indicating a likelihood of a set of second true users being exposed to media corresponding to the impression via the selected device, and assign the impression to the set of second true users.
