Abstract:
A plastic molded bin that may universally mount to either of cross wires or cross bars in a retail merchandising environment as shown. The bin includes a receptacle and has hooks and retainers projecting from the back wall of the receptacle to provide for the universal mount structure. Partition walls with a mounting structure can be used to divide the merchandise holding chamber into different merchandising compartments.
Abstract:
An adjustable arm gondola lighting system is provided. The adjustable arm gondola lighting system allows a user to illuminate retail merchandise located on a vertical wall by angularly and linearly adjusting the positioning of a light element of the adjustable arm gondola lighting system. The adjustable arm gondola lighting system may integrate a light shade which may include advertising by having printed graphics thereon. The light shade can be positioned around or within a light element to adjust the lighting characteristics of the adjustable arm gondola lighting system.
Abstract:
A label holder for attachment to, or integrated into, a retail shelf is provided. The label holder includes a deck and an electronic price label holder. The deck has a front deck portion and a back deck portion. The electronic price label holder is supported by the front deck portion. The label holder also has a back wall extending between a top wall and a bottom wall to form a retention channel. The back wall includes a hinge structure such that an entrance opening in the retention channel is expandable and retractable for receipt of electronic price labels.
Abstract:
A retail display hook, structure and method is provided for a product display that is self-facing and is both safe and space-saving. The support structure includes a vertical support for receiving a display hook. The display hook includes a back end member structured for attachment to a vertical support; a product arm member supported by and extending forwardly from the back end member, the product arm member structured to display the merchandise via a self-facing configuration such that merchandise when displayed on the retail display hook migrates forwardly toward the retainer member with the retainer member; and a lubricious surface that can be a fluoropolymer or a silicone surface on at least a portion of the product arm member. The fluoropolymer surface or the silicone surface is configured to provide an approximate near zero static coefficient of friction for merchandise being self-faced on the product arm member.
Abstract:
A combination sign holder and strip retailer for provided expanded area for graphics and detailed information about products offered for sale on the strip retailer. The sign holder portion of the combination has an opening at or near the bottom thereof to accommodate the passage of a plastic strip retailer (die-cut or injection molded) through the opening. An enlarged portion of the strip retailer is retained on opposite sides of the opening. The sign holder portion of the combination may be made of a heat-folded PVC having an additional third panel that allows the sign holder to be held by a C-shaped price channel on a store shelf. Alternatively, an adhesive strip or hooks extending through holes in the sign holder may be used to fasten the combination to a retail fixture.
Abstract:
The application discloses a friction coated label and labeling sheet for use in labeling a label holder of a merchandiser unit that supports merchandise in which the label holder has means for supporting one or more labels without an adhesive bond. The labeling sheet comprises a plurality of friction coated labels removably secured to the release liner. The friction-coated labels include a face stock and a friction coating integrally connected to the face stock. The face stock has printed indicia thereon relating to the merchandise. The friction coating may comprise a weak adhesive that is adapted to inhibit migration of the friction coated labels but is not strong enough to provide a self supporting reliable adhesive bond for retail applications.
Abstract:
A theft detection device, configured to be coupled to a product, includes a light sensor, a motion sensor, an emitter configured to emit a signal, and a controller coupled to the light sensor, the motion sensor, and the emitter. The controller is configured to determine a light level sensed by the light sensor. The controller is also configured to determine, via the motion sensor, whether the theft detection device is in motion. Further, the controller is configured to operate the emitter based on the sensed motion of the theft detection device and the light level sensed by the light sensor. The controller is further configured to deactivate the theft protection device when the light sensor detects a coded light sequence.
Abstract:
A signal emitting retail device is provided. The signal emitting retail device includes a sensor and an emitter. The emitter is configured to emit a signal when the sensor senses removal of merchandise from a merchandise display structure. The sensor is also configured to sense potential theft conditions. The emitter is configured to emit a signal indicative of potential theft conditions when such conditions are sensed by the sensor.
