    Abstract: An electronic pen is provided that is enhanced in strength such as not to be bent or broken even when made to be thinner (smaller in diametric size). A connection section holds a core body at one end thereof and holds a circuit board at the other end thereof. The circuit board is accommodated in a board protecting pipe, which is fitted to the connection section. The board protecting pipe is provided with a side opening, and an operation on an electronic part on the circuit board accommodated therein and a work on an electronic circuit formed on the circuit board can be performed through the side opening. An electronic pen main body section wherein the core body and the circuit board and the board protecting pipe are united together through the connection section is accommodated in a casing, to constitute the electronic pen.

    Abstract: An electronic pen includes a circuit board disposed such that an axial direction of a casing is aligned with a longitudinal direction of the circuit board, an electronic circuit on the circuit board, and a battery having a columnar shape disposed on a side of the circuit board opposite to a pen tip side of the circuit board inside a hollow portion of the casing such that positive and negative electrode conductors protruding from an end surface of the battery extend toward the circuit board. The battery is disposed such that a separation space is formed between the end surface and an end portion of the circuit board and such that tip portions of the positive and negative electrode conductors are in contact with the circuit board. The circuit board and the tip portions of the positive and negative electrode conductors are electrically connected to each other by soldered portions.

    Abstract: A pressure detection element of a capacitive system includes a dielectric having two opposing surfaces including a first surface and a second surface, a conductor layer provided on the first surface of the dielectric, a conductive elastic member provided on the second surface of the dielectric, a spacer that positions the conductive elastic member at a predetermined distance from the second surface of the dielectric, and a pressing member configured to push the conductive elastic member toward the dielectric. An end surface of the pressing member that presses the conductive elastic member has a predetermined curvature, with an apex at a center of the end surface. A protrusion is provided at the apex at the center of the end surface of the pressing member.

    Abstract: A capacitive-coupling electronic pen includes a tubular housing, a signal transmission circuit arranged in the housing, a tubular conductor fixed and arranged at a predetermined position in the housing, a conductive core body including a front end protruding from an opening on one side of the housing in an axial direction and an opposite end opposite the front end that is inserted into a hollow portion of the tubular conductor such that the opposite end is movable, and a connection member that electrically connects the signal transmission circuit and the tubular conductor. A signal from the signal transmission circuit is transmitted to the core body through capacitive coupling between the tubular conductor and the core body and transmitted to an outside of the electronic pen from a tip portion of the core body when the tubular conductor and the core body are not in contact with each other.
