Abstract: An electronic pen of an electromagnetic coupling type has a resonant circuit that includes a coil and that is configured to indicate a position to a position detection sensor through electromagnetic coupling between the resonant circuit and the position detection sensor. The electronic pen includes an electronic pen main body and a pen tip unit configured to be detachable from the electronic pen main body. The pen tip unit includes a pen tip casing in which at least the coil is housed. The electronic pen main body includes a circuit portion of the resonant circuit that is electrically coupled to the coil housed in the pen tip unit when the pen tip unit is attached to the electronic pen main body.

Abstract: An electronic pen includes a casing, an opening portion formed on one side of the casing, a core body that projects outside of the casing through the opening portion, a pen module part, and a core body insertion member disposed in the casing and having a hollow space that houses the core body. The hollow space includes a hollow portion between an inner circumferential surface of the core body insertion member and an outer circumferential surface of the core body when the core body insertion member houses the core body, the hollow portion communicating, via the opening portion, with a first space external to the electronic pen. The hollow portion is separated from a second space in which the pen module part is disposed within the casing.

Abstract: A pressure detection element of a capacitive system includes a dielectric having two opposing surfaces including a first surface and a second surface, a conductor layer provided on the first surface of the dielectric, a conductive elastic member provided on the second surface of the dielectric, a spacer that positions the conductive elastic member at a predetermined distance from the second surface of the dielectric, and a pressing member configured to push the conductive elastic member toward the dielectric. Abstract: An electronic pen includes an electronic pen main body section coupled to a side of a housing that includes an opening. Abstract: An electronic pent includes a case, a core body, and a signal generation circuit. The core body is attached inside the case such that a front end portion in an axial direction protrudes from an opening portion of the case. The signal generation circuit generates a signal to be transmitted from the core body. The core body includes a core rod and a protection member that covers a pen tip portion and an axis portion of the core rod. The core body is provided with a middle portion with a dielectric constant different from a dielectric constant of the protection member, the middle portion being provided around a side surface of the axis portion of the core rod such that the core rod is separated from the protection member.
