    Abstract: An examination system includes a server apparatus, and a terminal apparatus connected to the server apparatus and capable of communicating with the server apparatus. The terminal apparatus is configured to transmit, to the server apparatus, response information, which is responsive to provided information and which is generated according to a position indication input performed by a user of the terminal apparatus. The terminal apparatus includes a position detection sensor that detects the position indication input, a determination unit that distinguishingly determines the position indication input in a response information area corresponding to an input field for the response information and the position indication input in an area outside the response information area, in a position detection area of the position detection sensor, and a transmission control unit that transmits, to the server apparatus, the position indication input in the response information area.

    Abstract: Provided is a pen input device sheet disposed over a position detection region of a position detecting sensor, the pen input device sheet including an elastic material layer that is composed of a plurality of layer portions stacked in a thickness direction and has elasticity, an opposite side of a side of the position detecting sensor in the elastic material layer being employed as a side of a writing input surface to which writing input with an electronic pen is made, and the pen input device sheet being configured such that a vibration frequency characteristic of a kinetic friction coefficient when the electronic pen is moved at a predetermined speed on the writing input surface of the pen input device sheet matches a vibration frequency characteristic of a kinetic friction coefficient when a predetermined writing material is moved at the predetermined speed on a predetermined writing medium.

    Abstract: Disclosed herein is a pen pressure detecting module housed in a position indicator, the position indicator having a pen shape and being capable of detecting a pressure applied to a tip portion of the position indicator. The pen pressure detecting module includes a pressure sensing device, a first holder, and a second holder. The pressure sensing device senses the pressure based on a change in a capacitance formed between a first electrode and a second electrode disposed so as to be opposed to each other, which capacitance changes so as to correspond to the pressure that is transmitted to the first electrode. The second holder is housed in the first holder, and the pressure sensing device is disposed so as to sense the pressure applied to the second holder. An engaging portion engaged with a pressure transmitting member that transmits the pressure is formed in the second holder.
