摘要： An intrusion detection system used to surveil a predetermined space includes a monitor disposed within the space and a remote controller. The monitor comprises an intrusion detector for sensing an intruder in the space and a memory circuit having an armed and a disarmed state recording any sensed intrusion. The remote controller includes an RF transmitter activated by a button switch the pulsed closure of which either arms or tests or disarms the monitor. When arming the monitor, a first audible or visual output is produced by the monitor in response to the RF pulse which switches it from the disarmed to the armed state. In the armed state, the monitor produces a second audible or visual output in response to the RF pulse which is used to test the state of the monitor. The second response is easily distinguished from the first response by a user. If an intrusion occurs, the monitor produces an alarm signal. While the monitor is sounding the alarm signal, a pulsed closure of the button switch disarms the monitor. Should the monitor detect an intrusion and/or be disabled by the intruder, the lack of the monitor output in response to the RF pulse transmitted by the remote controller warns the user, before entering his or her premises, there exists the possibility of confronting an intruder.

摘要： An alarm system for recording the occurrence of an alarm condition in a predetermined space comprises a self-contained monitor which defines a sensor armed for sensing the alarm condition and a monitor transmitter which transmits a monitor signal in response thereto. In addition, the system comprises an interface module responsive to the monitor signal which communicates with a telephone line and a telephone answering machine associated with the predetermined space. The interface module includes an interface receiver circuit, a message generator which provides an alarm message, an off-hook telephone circuit, a telephone line simulator and a transfer switch. In response to the monitor signal, the interface receiver circuit operates the transfer switch to an activated position wherein the alarm message is transmitted from the message generator through the off-hook telephone circuit, the telephone line simulator and the transfer switch to the telephone answering machine for recording thereon. Subsequently, the user calls the telephone line to access the answering machine in order to retrieve the alarm message.

摘要： Adapters removably affixing a hand held laser pointer to selected apparatus are disclosed. The adapters include structure for mounting therein the laser pointer having a laser module emitting a laser beam, a casing, a voltage source and a switch for controlling the laser module. Also included is a device for maintaining the laser pointer in an on condition and means for removably affixing the adapters to the selected apparatus such that when the adapters are affixed thereon, the laser beam emitted from the laser pointer is aimed in a predetermined relation with respect to the selected apparatus. The laser pointer and associated adapters are employed to optimize the use of the laser pointer and enhance the selected apparatus upon which it is mounted.

摘要： A guide tool for directing a surgical device into attachment with a bone segment includes a tubular portion having an axial bore extending from a proximal end to a distal end thereof for guiding the surgical device therethrough. A transversely extending pressure plate is affixed to the tubular portion at its distal end for applying finger pressure thereon to stabilize the bone segment while the surgical device is guided through the axial bore into attachment with the bone segment. The guide tool protects a surgeon's fingers from the surgical device and from the jagged surface of the bone segment.

摘要： A golf club putter with a self-contained laser aiming system is disclosed. The putter includes a shaft with a hollow length portion, a head with a golf ball striking face and a grip. The head includes a substantially sealed chamber in which a laser aiming module is mounted. The grip provides a substantially sealed chamber in which a voltage source and switch for energizing the laser module is mounted. A hollow length portion of the shaft provides a substantially sealed chamber through which the laser module is coupled to the voltage source. A user employs the laser aiming system to ensure proper club face alignment when practicing putting.
