Abstract:
An exemplary electronic device with a speaker includes a mounting plate, a speaker mounted on the mounting plate, two fasteners mounting the speaker, and a buffer washer squeezed between the mounting plate and the speaker. The buffer washer is capable of absorbing vibration of the speaker. Each of the fasteners includes a head portion and a post portion. The post portion is mounted on the mounting plate and is located outside the speaker. The head portion presses the speaker to abut against the buffer washer.
Abstract:
A cable positioning mechanism configured to hold at least one cable in position includes a main body attached to the bottom surface of the electronic device. The main body includes a first edge and a second edge intersecting with each other. A bent portion projects from the first edge and is bent toward the bottom surface. A supporting portion projects from a distal end of the bent portion. A block member projects from the second edge. The block member, the bent portion, and the supporting portion cooperatively form a slot to hold the cable therein.
Abstract:
An electronic device includes a body, a key switch and a limiting mechanism secured to the body. The body includes a top wall defining an aperture. The key switch includes a touch switch, an actuating member for actuating the touch switch when being pressed, and a key cap received in the aperture and abutting the actuating member. The limiting mechanism corresponds to the aperture. When the key cap is pressed, the actuating member is driven to actuate the touch switch, and the limiting mechanism limits the movement of the key cap to protect the touch switch from damages.
Abstract:
An electronic device includes a housing, a signal receiving unit receiving in the housing, and a detector window secured to the housing and corresponding to the signal receiving unit. The housing includes a top case having a front sidewall and a bottom case having a front side portion corresponding to the front sidewall. The front sidewall defines an opening for receiving a detecting window. Two limiting members receive the first end of the detector window and a holding member holds the second end of the detector window. When the top case covers the bottom case, the holding member engages with the limiting members to secure the detector window to the housing. A housing of an electronic device is also provided.
Abstract:
An exemplary electronic device includes a main housing and a cover pivotably attached to the main housing. The main housing has a printed circuit board received therein. A Hall sensor is fixed and electrically connected to the printed circuit board. The cover has a display and a speaker located adjacent to the display. The speaker includes a magnet. The Hall sensor can detect variation of a magnetic field of the magnet to output different voltages, thereby actuating the display to turn on or turn off.
Abstract:
An exemplary electronic device includes a cover, a circuit board and a driving module both mounted on the bottom cover, an electronic component fixed on the circuit board, a heat dissipating plate mounted on the circuit board and thermally contacting the electronic component, and a top cover covering the bottom cover. The driving module has a rotating shaft adapted for supportively driving an optical disk to rotate. The electronic component generates heat during operation. Through holes are defined in the top cover and located at a periphery of the rotating shaft. Two opposing elongated extending portions extend downwardly from the heat dissipating plate towards the circuit board. An airflow channel is formed between the two extending portions under the heat dissipating plate and aligned with the electronic component.
Abstract:
A casing includes a base plate and a supporting post extending upwardly from the base plate. The base plate and the supporting post are integrally formed as a single monolithic piece from the same material. The supporting post axially defines a fixing hole therein. The fixing hole has an opening at a top free end of the supporting post. The fixing hole includes a first section adjacent to the opening, a second section far from the opening and spaced from the first section, and a chamfer section between the first section and the second section. The first section has a diameter larger than that of the second section.
Abstract:
An electronic device includes a bottom casing, an upper casing, a hinge, and a dust proof casing. The upper casing is assembled to the bottom casing to form a space. The upper casing defines a first opening in one side. The bottom casing further includes a first fixing member located in the first opening. A part of the hinge is received in the space, and the other part of the hinge protrudes out of the upper casing via the first opening. The dust proof casing includes a cover, and a second fixing member protruding from the cover to cooperate with the first fixing member so as to enable the cover to be assembled to the upper casing, and enable the cover to cooperate with the hinge to seal the first opening.
Abstract:
An electronic device includes an electronic component and a heat sink mechanism. The heat sink mechanism includes a first heat sink component and a second heat sink component arranged on opposite surfaces of the electronic component. The first heat sink component includes a first conduction portion and a second conduction portion extending from the first conduction portion. The first conducting portion is secured to the electronic component, and the second conducting portion is secured to the second heat sink component, for dissipating the heat produced by the electronic component away from the electronic device.
Abstract:
An electronic device includes a housing having a lower base and an upper cover disposed on the lower base, a light emitting module received in the housing, two arms extending downwardly from the upper cover, and a light guiding member facing the light emitting module and fixed between the two arms.
