摘要： A sewing machine includes a frame support portion, a detecting device, a detecting device, a processor, and a memory. The frame support portion is configured to be detachably mounted with a selected one of a plurality of embroidery frames whose types are different from each other. Each of the embroidery frames has a holding portion. The detecting device is configured to detect the type of the embroidery frame mounted on the frame support portion. The memory is configured to store computer-readable instructions that, when executed by the processor, instruct the processor to perform processes comprising, setting a sewing area inside the holding portion, by setting a size of the sewing area, as well as a position and an angle of the sewing area, identifying an embroidery pattern to be sewn on the sewing workpiece, and setting a layout of the identified embroidery pattern, corresponding to the sewing area.

摘要： A cap frame includes an annular cap frame body detachably attachable to a feed mechanism of an embroidery sewing machine and holds a cap so that a predetermined part of the cap is embroidered. The cap frame further includes a pressing member which has a proximal end mounted on the cap frame body so that the pressing member is pivotally movable thereby to be switchable between a pressing position where the pressing member presses a vicinity of the predetermined part of the cap from outside and an open position where the pressing member allows the cap to be attached to or detached from the cap frame, and a guide member which guides the pressing member so that the pressing member is prevented from being caught on another member of the cap frame, when the pressing member is switched between the pressing position and the open position.

摘要： A printer comprises: an inkjet head including nozzles for discharging ink; a holding member which holds a print medium; a moving mechanism which moves the holding member and/or the inkjet head so as to move the inkjet head relative to the holding member in a main scanning direction and a sub scanning direction for printing by the inkjet head on the print medium; and a print control unit which controls the inkjet head and the moving mechanism so as to execute flushing printing on the print medium for preventing clogging of the nozzles while moving the inkjet head relative to the holding member in a first printing direction in the main scanning direction and to execute pattern printing on the print medium according to pattern printing data while moving the inkjet head relative to the holding member in a second printing direction in the main scanning direction.
