    摘要: A recording apparatus for recording an image on a recording medium by scanning the recording medium with a recording head for discharging ink includes a thinning unit configured to thin data for discharging ink by the recording head on a plurality of areas formed by dividing scanning regions including at least a first scanning region and a second scanning region to be recorded each by one scan of the recording head in the scan direction, and a recording head drive unit configured to discharge ink by driving the recording head based on data which has been thinned by the thinning unit, wherein a boundary between the areas in the first scanning region is located in a different position from that of a boundary between areas in the second scanning region, which is adjacent to the first scanning region, in the scan direction.

    摘要: There is provided a variable displacement type piston machine capable of reducing noise and vibration through reduction of pulsation of discharge fluid by reducing the variation of the rate of operating fluid that is flowing from a high pressure port to a low pressure port and a drain. On a slide surface (1a) of a valve plate (1) is provided an intermittent drain passage (5) in a manner that it directly communicates with neither a high pressure port (3a) nor an oil guide groove (4). When the high pressure port (3a) and a cylinder port (54a) are communicated with each other via the oil guide groove (4) and a back flow from the high pressure port (3a) to the cylinder port (54a) is generated, the intermittent drain passage (5) communicates with neither the high pressure port (3a) nor the cylinder port (54a). When a cylinder block (55) further rotates from the above state, the intermittent drain passage (5) communicates with the high pressure port (3a) via the cylinder port (54a).

    摘要: A printing apparatus divides printing elements of a printhead into blocks, time-divisionally drives the printing elements, and prints a halftone image on a printing medium in accordance with a result obtained by performing digital-halftoning for input multi-valued image data in each matrix of a predetermined size. The apparatus includes a scanner for reciprocally scanning the printhead, a conveyor for conveying the printing medium in a direction different from a scanning direction of the printhead, and a controller for printing a halftone image in each matrix. An arrayed direction of the printing elements is the convey direction of the conveyor. The controller sets a size of the block to be equal to or an integral multiple of a size of the matrix in the convey direction. The digital-halftoning increases the number of dots from a center of the matrix as a density expressed by the multi-valued image data increases.

    摘要: In an inkjet printing apparatus which generates satellites droplets, problems in an image attributable to the satellites are mitigated as far as possible. For this purpose, each parameter is adjusted to satisfy a relationship such that the distance between positions of placement of a main droplet and a satellite substantially agrees with an integral multiple of the width of an index pattern. As a result, a satellite is likely to be placed in a position overlapping a dot formed by a main droplet printed in the same area of a pixel located in the vicinity of the satellite, which prevents satellites from placement blank positions where no dot should be printed. Thus, the influence of satellites is mitigated, and problems in an image attributable to satellite are reduced.

Dot count is performed regarding an image printed in the vicinity of the joining stripe, and print duty is judged. Next, a dot count value is determined from the print duty. Then, a print data correction rank is determined beforehand in accordance with properties of the printing apparatus, and image data to be printed in the vicinity of the joining stripe is added or thinned out. Thus, an image can be printed which has few black and white stripes.
