Abstract: A driving mechanism for a massage chair, the massage chair has a primary frame and a massaging set, the primary frame having a vertical bidirectional screw rod, a passive member connected to the massaging set jacketed onto the bidirectional screw rod. The massaging set utilizes the driving motor to provide synchronized massage movements and vertical movements, and the massaging set engages with the passive member and the bidirectional screw rod such that when the massaging set reaches to the very top end or the very bottom end the bidirectional screw rod it directly changes its direction of movement without any sensor, which can reduce and simplify structural costs.

Abstract: An adjustable leg massager has a massage base, two connecting joints and a rotatable massage unit. The massage base has two symmetrical vertical openings at a front face, a plurality of first massage airbags disposed in the openings, and a first cover covering the first massage airbags. The two connecting joints have an upper joint portion and a lower joint portion pivoted together. A stop is disposed at an outer edge of the upper joint portion and adjacent to the pivoted position. The rotatable massage unit has two massaging sections corresponding to the vertical openings of the massage base, a plurality of second massage airbags disposed in the massaging sections, and a second cover covering the second massage airbags. The massage airbags have a plurality of individual massage regions and each massage region is connected with an outlet.

Abstract: A driving device of the massaging chair including a main shaft, a bevel gear mounted on one end of the main shaft, a worm rod mounted on another end of the main shaft, and a driving rotor mounted slidably between the bevel and the worm rod. When the main shaft is driven by a motor to turn forward, the driving rotor is engaged with the bevel gear to actuate a kneading shaft of the massaging chair. When the main shaft is driven by the motor to turn backward, the driving rotor becomes disengaged with the bevel gear and moves away from the bevel gear to engage the worm rod so as to actuate a beating shaft of the massaging chair.
