Abstract:
A fixing device for fixing a fan includes a support and a number of fastening members. The fan includes two opposite sidewalls each defining a number of fixing holes. The support includes a fixing plate defining a vent area and a number of slots located around the vent area. Each fastening member includes a sleeve member and an inserting member. The sleeve member is inserted into the corresponding slot of the fixing plate and extended through the corresponding fixing hole of one of the sidewalls of the fan. The inserting member is extended through the corresponding fixing hole of the other sidewall of the fan, to engage with the sleeve. A first block protrudes from the sleeve to abut against the fixing plate. A second block protrudes from the inserting pole to abut against the other sidewall of the fan.
Abstract:
A serial advanced technology attachment dual-in-line memory module (SATA DIMM) assembly includes a SATA DIMM module with a circuit board and a cable member. A first edge connector is set on a bottom edge of the circuit board to be connected to a memory slot of a motherboard. A second edge connector is arranged on an end of the circuit board. The cable member includes a cable, a first storage device interface extending from a first end of the cable to be connected to a second storage device interface of the motherboard, and a third edge connector formed on a second end of the cable and soldered to the second edge connector.
Abstract:
A fixing apparatus for fixing a hard disk drive includes a bottom plate, and two pairs of fixing members mounted on the bottom plate to sandwich the hard disk drive. The hard disk drive includes two opposite sidewalls, and a bottom wall connected between bottoms of the sidewalls. Two pairs of fixing holes are defined in the bottom wall. Each of the fixing members includes a base to support the hard disk drive, a resilient arm extending up from the base to engage with a corresponding one of the sidewalls of the hard disk drive, and a hook formed on a top of the resilient arm to engage with a top of the hard disk drive. A post extends up from each base, to engage in a corresponding one of the fixing holes of the hard disk drive.
Abstract:
A connector assembly includes a connector and two screws. The connector includes a main body, a cable connected to a rear side of the main body, and a connection portion protruding from a front side of the main body. Two threaded holes are defined in opposite ends of the main body, respectively. Two resilient fixing portions protrude from the rear side of the main body. A through hole is defined in each of the fixing portions. The screws are detachably received into the corresponding through holes of the fixing portions, and operable to mount the connector to an object by extending through the threaded holes to engage with the object.
Abstract:
An electronic device includes a bottom plate, a circuit board, a fan, and an airflow guide member. The circuit board is fixed to the bottom plate. The fan is arranged at the front of the circuit board. The airflow guide member is arranged between the fan and the circuit board. The airflow guide member includes an airflow guide wall for guiding most of airflow upwards to the top of the circuit board. A number of slots is defined in the airflow guide wall, for allowing only a minimum portion of the airflow to flow underneath the circuit board.
Abstract:
A protection apparatus is provided to protect at least one socket. The protection apparatus includes a main body, and at least one plugging board substantially perpendicularly extending from a bottom of the main body to be plugged into the at least one socket.
Abstract:
An electronic device includes a chassis, a circuit board, and a light guide. The chassis includes a rear panel defining an opening. The circuit board is installed in the chassis. A connector is mounted to a rear end of the circuit board aligning with the opening. Two spaced light emitting diodes are mounted at a rear end of the connector. The light guide includes a connecting plate mounted to an outer side of the rear panel, and two light guiding posts extending from a bottom of the connecting plate. Front ends of the light guiding posts extend through the opening of the rear panel and align with the light emitting diodes of the connector, to transmit light generated by the light emitting diodes rearwards and upwards.
Abstract:
A Registered Jack-45 (RJ-45) connector includes a main body, a cable, and a light reflecting member. The cable is electrically connected to a rear end of the main body. The light reflecting member includes a base placed on a rear end of a top of the main body, two slanted light reflecting portions extending up and back from the base, and a fixing portion formed on a rear end of the base, to engage with the cable.
Abstract:
A cabinet includes a housing, two first rails, two pairs of pivoting elements, and two second rails. The housing includes two doors pivotably mounted to opposite sides of a front end of the housing. The first rails are respectively fixed to opposite internal sides of the housing. First ends of a pair of pivoting elements are pivotably connected to an inner side of each of the doors, and second ends of the pair of pivoting elements of each of the doors are pivotably connected a corresponding one of the second rails. When the doors are opened parallel to the first rails, the second rails are operable to move relative to the corresponding doors and aligned with the corresponding first rails to form two extended sliding rails.
Abstract:
A mounting apparatus for mounting an expansion card to a printed circuit board (PCB), includes a connector on the PCB, and a latch member pivotably connected to the connector. The connector defines a slot to receive the expansion card. The latch member is a rectangular wire frame comprising a lock portion, two connection arms extending down from the lock portion, and two pivot portions extending from distal ends of the connection arms toward each other. The pivot portions are pivotably attached to two sidewalls of the connector. After the expansion card is plugged into the slot of the connector, the latch member is pivoted to make the lock portion press against a portion of the expansion card, thereby locking the expansion card to the connector.
