    Abstract: Methods, systems, and devices are disclosed for digital wireless communication, and more specifically, for initializing and using demodulation reference signals. In one exemplary aspect, a method of wireless communication performed by a communication node includes generating a first portion of an initial value of a demodulation reference signal (DMRS) based, at least in part, on combining a time index and at least a portion of an ID index. The method also includes generating a second portion of the initial value of the DMRS based, at least in part, on the ID index, and generating the initial value of the DMRS by combining at least the first and second portions. The method further includes transmitting or receiving the DMRS.

    Abstract: A method and device for notifying and determining De Modulation Reference Signal (DMRS) ports or a mapping relationship is provided. The method includes: a sending end sends indication information to a receiving end in a Transmission Mode (TM), and the sending end indicates allocation information about DMRS ports or a mapping relationship according to the indication information, and the indication information includes at least one of the following: Radio Resource Control (RRC) signaling, physical layer New Data Indication (NDI) bit, and DMRS pilot scrambler configuration information nscid. A problem of influence on a performance of a Multi-User Multiple-Input Multiple-Output (MU-MIMO) system caused by lower channel estimation performance due to limited orthogonal DMRS ports for MU-MIMO transmission and high Multi-User Interference (MUI) after increment of a total number of MU-MIMO transmission layers is solved, thereby increasing orthogonal DMRS ports for MU-MIMO transmission on a basis of improving base station configuration flexibility during MU-MIMO transmission, effectively inhibiting MUI during channel estimation, and improving channel estimation performance.

    Abstract: Disclosed are an uplink access method, device, and terminal and a base station. The method comprises: a terminal requests, according to obtained uplink access configuration information, uplink access to one or more first base stations; the terminal receives uplink access related information responded from the one or more first base stations, wherein the uplink access related information comprises downlink synchronization related information for performing downlink synchronization; and the terminal selects, according to the obtained uplink access related information, a first base station to perform uplink access. The technical solution of the present invention enables a terminal to accomplish downlink synchronization with one or more selected first base stations while accomplishing uplink access, and to obtain some system messages of the first base stations to which the terminal is connected. In this way, there is no need for the one or more first base stations to periodically transmit synchronization signals and certain system messages, and consequently, system power consumption for transmitting a synchronization signal and a system message is greatly reduced, thereby saving system resources.
