摘要： A card edge connector comprises an insulative housing defining a front mating face and a central slot recessed rearwardly from the mating face. A plurality of contacts each has a contact portion exposed into the central for mating with a complementary connector and a solder tail exposed to outside of the housing. A cover is assembled to a rear side of the housing. A spacer sandwiched between the housing and the cover along a front-to-rear direction. The spacer defines a plurality of through holes through which the solder tails of the contacts passing.

摘要： A card edge connector for mating with a corresponding daughter card 200 with a locking notch 201 at a side thereof, comprises: an insulative housing 1, a plurality of contacts 2 assembled to the insulative housing 1 and an ejector 3 and a locking member 4 set on two longitudinal ends of the insulative housing 1. The insulative housing defines a central slot 14 along the longitudinal direction. The locking member 4 is formed with a retention portion 41 and a pair of elastic arms 42 extending upwardly from the retention portion 41 and symmetrically located on two opposite sides of the central slot along a transverse direction perpendicular to longitudinal direction, each elastic arm 42 having a locking portion 321 protruding toward each other for locking with the locking notch 201 of the daughter card 200.

The insulative housing has a central slot (12) and at least one tower portion (13). The tower portion includes a pair of outer walls (131) and a receiving slot (135) formed between the outer walls. Each outer wall has a ladder with a circular hole (1312) formed therein. The ejector has a pair of spindles (312) received in the circular holes and a pair of standoffs (313). Each standoff has a horizontal surface (3131) abutting against a corresponding horizontal resisting surface (1314) formed on the ladder so as to make centers of the spindle and the circular hole overlap when the ejector rotates inwardly.

摘要： A terminal strip includes a number of terminals and a strip connecting the terminals. The terminal has a body, a soldering portion extending downwardly from the body and a spring beam extending upwardly from the body. The strip has a number of slots defined during punching the soldering portion thereof. The body has a bottom edge and a connecting portion connecting with the soldering portion. A breaking cut is formed in the connecting place between the bottom edge and the strip. The breaking cut is distributed into a number of slots connecting with each other. The configuration of the breaking slot can make several slots each with a short tearing journey when the terminals are separated from the strip, that can improve the efficacy of the product yield.

Each contact has a retaining portion retained in the housing, a contact portion forwardly extending from a front end of the retaining portion and a connecting portion backwardly extending from a rear end of the retaining portion. The contacts are arranged in two rows and formed with a first receiving space between two rows of contact portions to receive a module and a second receiving space between two rows of connecting portions to receive a mother board. The first receiving space defines a first center line along an insertion direction of the module. The second receiving space defines a second center line which is parallel to the first center line and offset to the first center line along an up to down direction perpendicular to the insertion direction.

摘要： A card edge connector for mating with an electronic card includes an elongated housing, a number of contacts and a retainer retained to the housing. The housing has a pair of side walls, a central slot between the side walls and a first tower upwardly extending at one end thereof. The first tower defines a first U-shaped cavity downwardly extending from a top end thereof and a mounting slot upwardly extending from a lower end thereof and located at outside of the first cavity. The first cavity communicates with the central slot along a length direction of the housing to receive the electronic card. The retainer has a non-flexible fastening portion retained in the mounting slot and a flexible locking barb obliquely protruding into the first cavity from a top end of the fastening portion to lock with the electronic card.
