Abstract:
A locking connector assembly includes a first connection member and a second connection member each having a channel. The first connection member has an upper retaining arm and a lower retaining arm. A longitudinal passage is defined between the upper and lower retaining arms, a tab includes a pull beam extending outwardly and linearly beyond the upper and lower retaining arms, and a gap is formed in an upper free end of the upper retaining arm and a lower free end of the lower retaining arm. The second connection member includes at least two insert members configured to be received within the longitudinal passage of the first connection member. The at least two insert members are configured to be engaged and moved to connect the first connection member to the second connection member in a connected state.
Abstract:
A wristworn device having a releasable coupling mechanism for releasably coupling a first strap section and a second strap section about a user's wrist. The wristworn device includes an elongated member that is positioned within a channel of one of the strap sections and which has an actuation section that extends from the channel. A directional force upon the actuation section of the elongated member causes a slidable locking plate in the releasable coupling mechanism to move in a direction and disengage from a locking member, whereby separation of the sections of the releasable coupling mechanism is facilitated upon the disengagement of the slidable locking plate from the locking member.
Abstract:
The latching devices of the present invention is an innovative latching device that secures animals' collars and chains together and provides hidden latching method for the bracelet, and necklace and is seamless and appealing. Moreover, the latching device of the present invention is easier to lock and release compared to traditional fastening means such as clasps or buckles. The latching device comprises a main housing unit, a center coin with a hook (latch) underneath, a spring, and a receiver ring. To lock the latching device, the receiver ring is slid into the housing and secured by the center coin at locked position. To open the latching device, the center coin is pressed; the receiver ring is then released from the housing.
Abstract:
The present invention concerns a clasp for a watch wristband, characterized in that it includes two male (2) and female (4) joining parts able to be coupled by inserting the male part (2) into the female part (4), resilient locking means, provided on the male part (2), locking with catching means provided on the female part (4), when the male part (2) is pushed into an engagement position in said female part (4), so that it is then impossible to pull the male joining part (2) outwards, the male (2) and female (4) joining parts being able to be uncoupled from each other by pushing the male part (2) further into the female part (4), so that the locking means are released from the catching means and the male joining part (2) can be pulled out of the female joining part (4).
Abstract:
An item of jewelry having an having an essentially linear construction made of swivel elements linked together to produce a closed loop by connecting first and second end pieces belonging to opposite ends, wherein a clasp thereof includes a pin attached to the first end piece and passes through a hole belonging to the second end piece, at least one end of the pin having a swelling (enlarged end) suited to snapping into a safety clip provided with intrinsic elasticity and rotatably coupled to the first or to the second end piece.
Abstract:
A jewelry clasp (10) comprises a pair of opposite interlocking members (30). Each of the interlocking members has a top portion (26), a bottom portion (28), and a forward and a rearward end (25,27), respectively. The interlocking members have forward end tines (24). Each of the tines has a transverse bore extending therethrough. A pin (60) is provided for inserting through the bores to lock the interlocking members together in a closed position. The pin has a top (62), a terminal end (80) and an shank (70) therebetween. The top has a bore (67) extending through it. A pair of upstanding posts (50,51) are secured to the top portion of each of the interlocking members. The top of the pin protrudes a height at least as great as the posts when the pin is fully inserted in the bores. At least one of the bores and at least a portion of the shank have complementary threads (31,81). A resilient locking clip (90) extends through the bore in the top of the pin and is positioned on the posts for securing the pin when the clasp is in the closed position. One of the posts (50) has a terminal head (52) such that the clip cannot be separated from the clasp.
Abstract:
A hinge and clasp connection especially adapted for use in jewelry items where it is desirable to separably connect two components and at the same time enable relative pivotal movement between the connected components. The combination hinge and clasp includes interdigitated hinge barrels with a pin engaged with the hinge barrels in one position and disengaged from at least one of the interdigitated hinge barrels when in another position to enable the barrels to be retained in pivotal, aligned condition or separated for separating components of a jewelry item.
Abstract:
An item of permanent jewelry involves a Band including a hollow extending longitudinally into the Band from a first terminal end, an internal bar having a first terminal end inserted into the hollow, wherein the Band is connected to the internal bar by at least one pin extending transversely through both the first terminal end of the Band and the first terminal end of the internal bar, and wherein the second terminal end of the Band and second terminal end of the internal bar are coupled together such so that the Band and internal bar collectively form a closed loop such that the closed loop cannot be slid off the person without damaging at least one of the Band, the internal bar or the at least one pin. A method of making an item of permanent jewelry is also disclosed.
Abstract:
A clasp including: a first extension link that is formed in a U-shape and in which a closed end side is rotatably supported at one end of a clasp cover of a band; and a second extension link connected to an open end side of the first extension link via a connecting member, wherein, the second extension link is fixed to the first extension link at a position different from a connected position in the connecting member, and the first extension link is fixed to the clasp cover at a position different from the one end of the clasp cover where the first extension link is rotatably supported.
