The mixer also includes at least one injector that at least partially extends through the bore of the at least one side wall. The polymer processing system also includes a ram that is movably connected to the mixer. The polymer processing system also includes a compressed air supply that is fluidly connected to the at least one injector to supply compressed air to the chamber through the at least one injector.

    摘要： A closed mixer includes a mixing chamber, a pair of rotors, and a pressing ram. The pressing ram is moveable between a resting condition, which allows introduction of material into the mixing chamber, and a working condition. A method of processing polymer-based mixtures and compounds in the closed mixer includes introducing material into the mixing chamber, moving the pressing ram from the resting condition to an upper end-of-stroke position, and moving the pressing ram from the upper end-of-stroke position to a lower end-of-stroke position. A position-time profile of the pressing ram is controlled during moving the pressing ram from the upper end-of-stroke position to the lower end-of-stroke position.

    摘要： The invention relates to the processing, in a closed mixer (1), of polymer-based mixtures and compounds for the manufacture of tyres or components thereof. To improve the dispersion of the ingredients in the polymer base, the pressing ram (8) is lowered to the working condition controlling the position thereof over time, in order to compress the ingredients within the mixing chamber (4). The invention is particularly suitable for the dispersion of reinforcing fillers such as silica or carbon black in the polymer base and the incorporation of said fillers in the latter.

    摘要： An apparatus for actuating the rod of a presser element of a mixing machine of the internal type which has a lower mixing assembly and an upper structure for feeding of the material. At least one pair of guides are arranged opposite each other on the sides of the feed structure parallel to the longitudinal axes of the machine and in a symmetrical position with respect to the latter on the opposite sides of a transverse horizontal axis. At least one pair of cylinders are fixed to the guides and having their rods of their pistons connected to a cross-member travelling via wheels on the guides. The top end of the presser rod is hinged to the cross member. The rod also slides while being guided by a sealing group integral in the axial direction with the cover of the feed hopper and movable with respect to the latter in a horizontal plane so as to allow the oscillating movement of the rod with respect to the longitudinal axis of the machine.

    摘要： To improve the work environment by preventing a larger amount of a powder compounding agent from being discarded as power dust and by returning the powder compounding agent into a kneading tank by capturing said powder compounding agent by employing a simple means in closed pressure type kneader. Also to bring the compound quality closer to the design quality by drastically increasing the valuable collection rate. A recovery device for collecting an ejected powder compounding agent is installed on a closed pressure type kneader for kneading a kneading material along with a powder compounding agent in a kneading tank by rotating a kneading rotor. In the recovery device, a tubular air bag capable of expanding and contracting is connected to the side surface of the surrounding wall of the kneading tank with a ventilation chute between the air bag and the surrounding wall, the surrounding wall surrounding the periphery of a pressurized lid rising/lowering path. A branching duct capable of connecting to and being disconnected from the outside is connected to the top of the air bag, and a filter tube for filtering and capturing the powder compounding agent carried by a gaseous body flowing from the side of the kneading tank is disposed in a suspended manner within the air bag. As a consequence, it is possible to return the powder compounding agent captured by means of the filter tube to the kneading tank by means of the pressurized air flow accumulated in the air bag.
