摘要： A coarse crusher for use at both face ends of a face conveyor in an underground mine is disclosed. The coarse crusher may have a pan module with a strand segment for guiding an endless conveying means. The strand segment may be delimited by a first pan outer longitudinal side and a second pan outer longitudinal side which lies opposite the first pan outer longitudinal side. The first pan outer longitudinal side and the second pan outer longitudinal side may have a plurality of first pan fastening apparatuses. The coarse crusher may further have a base-frame module fastened releasably via the corresponding first pan fastening apparatuses to one of the first pan outer longitudinal side and the second pan outer longitudinal side. The coarse crusher may also have a support-arm module fastened releasably to the base-frame module.

摘要： A material extraction system for an underground mine includes an elevated haulage conveyor extending between first and second ends of a roadway entry. The haulage conveyor is cantilevered from a mine wall and conveys material toward either end of the roadway entry. The system also includes a crusher including a drive operable to move the crusher along the roadway entry. The system further includes a bridge conveyor including a first end adjacent the crusher and receiving material from the crusher, and a second end adjacent the elevated haulage conveyor and positioned for depositing material onto the elevated haulage conveyor. The bridge conveyor is moveable with the crusher along the roadway entry. The system also includes a loader moveable along the roadway entry and into and out of material collection entries to collect material therefrom and transport the material to the crusher.

The longwall shearer includes a chassis, an arm pivotably coupled to the chassis, a cutting drum for engaging the mining face, and a lump breaker for engaging material on the face conveyor. The chassis includes a first end and a second end, and the chassis is movable in at least a first direction that is generally parallel to the mining face. The cutting drum is rotatably supported on the arm. The lump breaker is pivotably coupled to the chassis about an axis, and the lump breaker includes at least one tooth for breaking apart the cut material.

摘要： A feeder/crusher machine for use in underground coal or ore mines for receiving and crushing mined material and feeding the crushed product to a stationary conveyor in the mine material transport system. It comprises a tramming unit supporting a feeding and crushing unit having an elongated body with a crushing section located intermediate receiving and discharge sections at opposite ends of the body. A conveyor has an upper, carrying run movable through the crushing section in a horizontal plane. A pair of breaker drums are mounted immediately above the conveyor in the crushing section and are rotatable about transversely spaced, parallel vertical axes. Because the breaker drums are rotatable about vertical axes, teeth on their peripheries move horizontally, parallel to the plane of the conveyor carrying run. Further, the teeth move in the same direction as the conveyor at the location between the drums where crushing occurs. Thus, crushing forces are confined to the material being crushed and are not transmitted destructively to the conveyor chains or flights.

The wetting water is directed, before the dust binding, to a first heat exchanger for receiving heat in the wetting water.

摘要： A material extraction system is provided for an underground mine. The mine includes a roadway entry and a draw-bell entry intersecting the roadway entry and affording access to a draw-bell. The system generally includes a loader movable from the roadway entry into the draw-bell entry for removing material from the draw-bell, a sizer coupled to the loader for sizing the removed material, and a material collector operable to collect the sized material. The material collector places the sized material at a substantially elevated position relative to a mine floor. A shuttle car is operable to receive the collected material from the material collector. The shuttle car is movable along the roadway entry for transferring the collected material so as to facilitate a substantially continuous extraction of the material.
