    摘要: There is disclosed a cleaning apparatus for a radiation source assembly in a fluid treatment system. The cleaning system comprises: a cleaning carriage comprising at least one cleaning element for contact with at least a portion of the exterior of the radiation source assembly; a rodless cylinder comprising an elongate housing having a first longitudinal axis; a slidable element disposed on an exterior surface of the elongate housing; and an elongate motive element coupled to the driving element. The slidable element is: (i) coupled to the cleaning carriage, and (ii) magnetically coupled to a driving element disposed within the elongate housing. The elongate motive element has a second longitudinal axis that is oriented in a substantially parallel, non-coaxial relationship with respect to the first longitudinal axis. There is also disclosed a fluid treatment system comprising: a fluid treatment zone for receiving a flow of fluid; at least one elongate radiation source assembly disposed in the fluid treatment zone; a cleaning apparatus having at least one cleaning element in contact with an exterior surface of the at least one elongate radiation source assembly; and a motive element coupled to the cleaning system. The elongate radiation source assembly has a longitudinal axis disposed transverse to a direction of fluid flow through the fluid treatment zone and a distal end of the at least one elongate radiation source assembly is spaced from a surface of the fluid treatment zone to define a gap. The motive element is operable to move the cleaning system between a retracted position and an extended position. Movement of the cleaning system from the retracted position to the extended position cause debris contacting the at least one elongate radiation source assembly to be pushed into the gap.

    摘要: A device and method for coupling a floor cleaning implement to a floor cleaning machine. The device and method selectively couple a floor cleaning implement, such as a pad or brush, in manner that can be easily released and connected. In one embodiment the coupling device comprises a plate having a first and second channel coupled to opposite edges of the plate. The channels are dimensioned and configured to receive edges of the cleaning implement. At least one channel has projecting members that selectively prevent the cleaning implement from leaving the channel. In some embodiments, the plate has a plurality of recesses dimensioned and configured to selectively receive projections extending from the cleaning implement. The projections of the cleaning implement only fully engage the recesses of the coupling device when an actuator presses the cleaning implement against a floor.

A suction-adhering seal engages the blasting case to seal a space defined between the blasting case and the surface of the object being treated. Sand, water, or other abrasive material is ejected through a nozzle and the blasting case, toward the surface being treated. A flat belt or plate, which includes a nozzle opening, engages the sub-open face of the blasting case and covers the blasting case opening. A surface of the flat belt member is brought into sealing contact with a surface of the sub-open face due to a difference in pressure between an inside and an outside of a pressure reduction space such that the blasting case opening is completely covered and sealed while the flat belt member reciprocatingly moves along with the nozzle.

Each material removing device includes two rotatable scabbling drums enclosed in a shroud from which removed material is conveyed to a waste collection skip. The material removing devices are mounted at the free ends of two pivotable arms arranged to be driven in mutually opposite directions by a common drive mechanism. A frame supports the two material removing devices, the frame being connected to an articulated arm which extends from a remotely-operated vehicle. The vehicle is located on a platform which can be raised and lowered to facilitate access by the material removing devices to the entire surface under treatment.

    摘要: Auger cleaned inaccessible floor systems to maximize operational capacity of inaccessible floors. The auger cleaned inaccessible floor system includes a floor having at least one channel beneath the lowest point of the floor extending horizontally at least half the length of the longest dimension of the floor and adapted for receiving an auger cleaner, at least one gate complex that provides fluid communication between the channel and at least one box and further provides access to the floor for the auger cleaner, and at least one box to deliver the auger cleaner to the channel and adapted for equalizing pressure when the inaccessible floor is under water to deliver an auger cleaner for cleaning. Thus, the auger cleaned inaccessible floor system allows cleaning of the inaccessible floor while the inaccessible floor system is in operation increasing the yield from the inaccessible floor system.
