The bicycle lighting system comprises a lighting assembly adapted to be fixedly secured to the bicycle frame, an electrical energy source electrically coupled to the lighting assembly for providing power to selectively illuminate the lighting assembly; a light conduit extending longitudinally between a first end coupled to the lighting assembly and a second opposite end adjacent the reflector for transferring light emitted from the lighting assembly to the remote reflector, and a light transmitting lens coupled to the second end of said light conduit for transmitting light to the remote reflector mounted to the bicycle.

摘要： A bicycle light in which a single housing contains a light source emitting light in a first direction, a battery providing energy to the light source, and, a lense mechanism adapted to direct light from said light source in a second direction being substantially perpendicular to said first direction. In one embodiment of the invention, the lense uses the single light source to generate two light beams beings substantially parallel to each other. A snap clip is used to secure the housing to a spoke of a wheel of the bicycle such that said first direction is substantially parallel to said spoke, and the re-directed light from the light source is substantially parallel to the ground.

摘要： A lighting system for a vehicle which utilizes a central housing having an electrical power source therein. The central housing is secured to the spokes of a wheel of the vehicle (such as a bicycle) and contains the electrical source. Light emitting units are secured to the spokes of wheel. These light emitting units are powered by the electrical source in said central housing and emit light substantially perpendicular to the plane formed by the wheel. In the preferred embodiment, the central housing uses three different units, one containing a controller and the other two having the power sources. The controller is able to adjust the timing of the lights so that more attention is generated thereby.

摘要： An electric power generator has a housing having an inner cavity having a center and an inner circumferential surface spaced at a varying radial extent from the center. A magnetic flux generator has a body offset from a point of rotation. The magnetic flux generator is rotatable at the center. The magnetic flux generator has a central passageway for slidably receiving a shaft with a magnet. The magnetic flux generator has a coil mounted about the central passageway in an inductive relation with the magnet. A spring is disposed between the shaft and magnetic flux generator for urging the shaft into contact with the inner circumferential surface whereby as the housing rotates, the magnetic flux generator rotates relative to the housing urging the shaft to travel along the inner circumferential surface causing relative back and forth motion of the shaft through the passageway inducing a voltage in the coil.

摘要： A light bar assembly for use on a motorcycle includes a housing having a pair of elongate cavities having reflective surfaces and arranged end to end and each being open at one side for defining a generally horizontally extending axis. A light transmitting lens covers each side opening and a lamp assembly is disposed in each cavity between the lens and the reflective surfaces and includes a plurality of lamps spaced apart in horizontal alignment in parallelism with the axis and an elongate diffuser is disposed between the lamp assembly and the lens. An elongate reflector is disposed between each lamp assembly and a central portion of each lens and in parallel with the axis for covering the central portion of each lens and the diffuser and for reflecting a portion of the light transmitted by the lamps backwardly onto the reflective surfaces for redirection through the diffuser and the uncovered portions of the lens. The light bar assembly is mounted by means of brackets and clamps on a pair of parallel horizontally extending rails fixed to the motorcycle.

Other embodiments may incorporate luminous coating material and/or light emitting diodes (LED's).
