    摘要: An electronic device that includes a display assembly comprising a display, a texture layer, a transmissive and reflective layer, and a cover layer. The display includes an upper surface on which visual data is displayed and from which light is emitted. The texture layer includes a lower surface having a first texture with structural components and a second texture with structural components that are different from structural components of the first texture. The transmissive and reflective layer is positioned between the display and the texture layer and includes a first texture with structural components that are complementary to the structural components of the first texture of the texture layer and a second texture with structural components that are complementary to the structural components of the second texture of the texture layer. The cover layer is positioned above the texture layer and forms an upper surface of the display assembly.

The flexible license plate includes plural layers, including a licensing-information layer, in which ink is deposited in the form of alphanumeric characters on an underlying one of the plural layers, the alphanumeric characters providing license information. The flexible license plate optionally includes one or more holograms, and/or watermarks, and/or QR-codes. The flexible license plate is disposed on the backing, which extends beyond the perimeter of the flexible license plate, defining a marginal region. In some embodiments, plural indices are disposed in the marginal region to facilitate alignment of flexible license plate during installation thereof on a motor vehicle.

    摘要: A reflective pavement marker for a roadway includes a body having a bottom adapted to be secured to the roadway and at least one a reflector on the body. The reflector includes an outer face for receiving light and an inner face comprising a plurality of light reflecting elements for receiving and reflecting the light back through the outer face. The reflector comprises a light transmitting and thermochromatic polymer adapted to transition at a predetermined transition temperature so as to change the color of the light reflected by the reflector depending on the temperature of the polymer. The predetermined transition temperature can be selected so that the color change of the light reflected by the reflector indicates freezing or near freezing road conditions.
