摘要： A connector for use with a disposable flexible liner installed in a spa basin is provided to bridge between an overflow opening provided in the liner and an overflow aperture provided in an upright wall of the basin, so that when the soaking solution containable in an interior volume of the basin exceeds a prescribed height, the soaking solution is enabled to drain out of the interior volume through the liner at the communicated openings/apertures. A conduit formed by the connector for insertion into the basin to bridge between the communicated openings/apertures is arranged for a friction fit in an overflow throat extending from the overflow aperture defined in the basin.

摘要： A flush mechanism for use with a toilet tank is disclosed. The mechanism permits selection between flushing cycles of two different time durations. The tank has a wall with an outlet therein and a valve member. The flush mechanism has a shaft linked at one end to the valve, a float slidably mounted on the shaft, and a cam pivotally connected to the shaft adjacent the float. The cam is rotatable between a short flush position wherein the float is allowed to assume a high position along the shaft and a long flush position wherein the cam member forces the float into a low position along the shaft.

摘要： A backflow preventer used in combination with a plumbing fixture has a pressurizable supply line, an output hose that can be equipped with a sprayer or shower, and a drain. It further has a valve casing having an inlet valve seat forming an inlet port connected to the supply line, a vent valve seat forming a vent port opening to the atmosphere, and an outlet port opening laterally between the seats and connected to the supply hose. A valve body is movable in the casing between a normal-flow position on the vent seat blocking the vent and permitting flow between the inlet and outlet ports and a backflow-preventing position on the inlet seat blocking the inlet port and permitting flow between the outlet and vent ports. A spring or the like biases the valve body toward the inlet seat into the backflow-preventing position with a pressure sufficient to overcome atmospheric pressure at the inlet port so as to permit movement of the valve body into the normal-flow position when pressure at the inlet port substantially exceeds atmospheric pressure.
