    摘要: This safety cleanout cap system provides for the removal of water and debris from drains. It consists of a flow channel having sidewalls, a turning segment and a downward bend. The turning segment is on the same lateral plane as the safety cleanout cap and has left and right side depressions that extend above the downward bend. The depressions have tracks that are formed to diverge inwardly between top and bottom lateral edges and cooperatively receive and prevent tools from upward and downward movement along the sidewalls of the flow channel. The safety cleanout cap can be attached to pipe fittings in order to regulate the flow of fluid in compressed spaces.

    摘要: A valve mechanism for controlling release of pressurized fluid includes a fluid chamber. A plunger is received in an aperture in the fluid chamber, and is movable between a fluid retention position in which fluid is substantially trapped in the fluid chamber and a fluid release position in which fluid can escape from the fluid chamber through passages in the plunger. The plunger is biased into the fluid retention position. A driver drives a plunger actuator, and the plunger actuator is guided into engagement with the plunger to cause the plunger and the plunger actuator to move in unison and move the plunger into the fluid release position during a first portion of a stroke of the driver towards the fluid chamber, and the plunger actuator is further guided to permit the plunger to return to the fluid retention position during a second portion of the stroke.

    摘要: A disposal brush includes a plate having a hub and a handle for manipulating the disposal brush secured to the hub. Depending from the plate is a support frame carrying elongated bristles thereon. The support frame, which is made at least in part from a resilient material, includes a central portion secured to the plate and side arm portions extending downwardly and outwardly from the central portion. The ends of the side arm portions are each bent inwardly. In use, when the bristles on the side arms engage the inner side wall of the disposal unit, the side arms are urged inwardly. The reaction of the resilient side arms is to urge the bristles thereon more firmly against the inner wall of the disposal unit so as to enhance the cleaning thereof. The bristles on the inwardly bent portions will engage the top wall of the disposal as the disposal brush is withdrawn from the disposal so as to help clean the same. In a modification, the support frame includes an axially downwardly extending portion having upwardly and outwardly extending side arms connected thereto. Each of the side arms has an upwardly and inwardly extending portion. The bristles on the side arms and the upwardly and inwardly extending portions effectively clean both the side wall and the inner surface of the top wall of the disposal unit.

    摘要: Condensation line purging devices and assemblies. The present invention relates to devices and assemblies for purging HVAC condensation lines. Such lines are relatively delicate, as opposed, for instance, to drain lines and plumbing systems. Accordingly, devices of the present invention include a body which is adapted to contain a conventional gas cylinder such as a 12 gram CO.sub.2 cylinder. The body is adapted to connect to a nozzle which in turn is connected to a connector that is attached to the condensation line. The body may be rotated onto the nozzle in a manner that controllably releases gas pressure from the gas cylinder into the condensation line so as to cause a pressure buildup that effectively purges the condensation line without breaching its seals or other discontinuities. Such control may occur by virtue of the shape of a pin protruding from the interior portion of the nozzle and adapted to penetrate the gas cylinder. It may occur by virtue of the shape of the pin in cooperation with the gas cylinder and in further cooperation with shoulders formed on the nozzle and body which control their rotational relationship. Such control may also occur by the manner in which the body and nozzle are rotated relative to one another during the purging process. Accordingly, devices according to the present invention allow a great degree of flexibility and control in carefully purging gas condensation lines with a minimum of time, effort and expense and with lower risk of damage to the lines.
