摘要： An image processing unit includes a first image processing unit that processes image data from a reading unit and a second image processing unit that processes image data from either one of the first image processing unit and a storing unit. A control unit determines a processing to be performed on the image data by the second image processing unit depending on a result of a processing performed on the image data by the first image processing unit, and selects an image processing route depending on a processing to be performed on the image data by the second image processing unit.

摘要： A pattern scanner comprises a plurality of light-sensitive elements guided in X and Y co-ordinate directions to scan a screen on which one or more pattern pieces are laid. The scanner detects outer and inner boundaries of the pieces, and analyses the inner boundaries to identify information such as grain direction, piece identity and drill holes.

The image forming apparatus includes a plurality of image processors which process an image to be formed on a printing medium corresponding to a plurality of colors, a processor which executes an interrupt routine with respect to the plurality of image processors, and a controller which generates an interrupt signal and transmits the interrupt signal to the processor if at least two of the plurality of image processors generate interrupt requests so that the processor executes the interrupt routine.
