摘要: A saddle-riding type vehicle includes a driver's seat on which an occupant taking a driving posture sits, a fuel tank disposed in front of the driver's seat and extending in a front-rear direction and a canister formed into a long-length shape that defines a longitudinal direction of the canister, fuel vapors generated in the fuel tank being brought into the canister and adsorbed and held by an adsorbent provided in the canister. The canister is disposed under the fuel tank with the longitudinal direction aligned with the front-rear direction and is entirely covered by the fuel tank in vehicle side view.

A lower section of the float faces away from the vent opening and faces toward the housing part of the valve housing. At least one spring element is at least partially arranged in or on the housing part and/or is at least partially formed by the housing part. The spring element contacts the float at least when the float moves downward in the valve housing.

摘要: A fully-integrated flow-control module is designed to fit within a filler neck of a DEF tank that conforms to ISO (International Organization for Standardization) Standard 22241-4:2009(E). The flow-control module includes a breather cap that locks the flow-control module within the mouth of the ISO filler neck. A spring-biased valve piston, which is controlled by a bleed path within a bleed and float body, opens and closes to control fluid flow into the DEF tank. A fluid level float is mounted on a control rod. The control rod and a bleed valve poppet are rigidly secured to a connector beam. When fluid levels in the tank raise the float, the bleed valve poppet seals a bleed circuit escape port, thereby enabling the valve piston to close, increase fluid pressure at the nozzle, and cause the nozzle to shut off.

摘要: There is provided a valve device, including: a housing in which, via a partition wall, a valve chamber is provided below the partition wall and a vent chamber is provided above the partition wall, and a vent hole through which the valve chamber and the vent chamber communicate with each other is provided in the partition wall; and a float valve. A valve seat is formed on a side of the valve chamber of the partition wall, and an opening is provided on an inner side of the valve seat. The opening includes a first opening and a second opening extending outward in a slit shape from an outer periphery of the first opening. A seal part having elasticity that contacts with and separates from the valve seat to close and open the first opening and the second opening, is disposed above the float valve.

摘要: Methods and systems are provided for performing a reverse purge of an evaporative emissions canister in a vehicle with a sealed variable volume fuel tank. In one example, a method may comprise in response to an ambient temperature reducing during a diurnal temperature cycle, and further in response to the EVAP canister loaded with fuel vapors above a threshold, closing a valve positioned at an atmospheric port of the fuel tank and opening a fuel tank isolation valve. In one example, the fuel tank isolation valve may be in fluid communication between the fuel tank and the EVAP canister. In this way, it is possible to convert a sealed variable volume fuel tank to a vented pressurized fuel tank and initiate a reverse purge during the cooldown hours of the diurnal temperature cycle.
