摘要： An attachment device (1) for an apparatus (10), which apparatus (10) comprises a fixed cable (2) with a connector (12) at its free end. The attachment device (1) comprises a first plate member (3) and a second plate member (4), which by means of a hinge member (7) are rotatably connected to each other about a hinge axis (5). Hereby, they can rotate between a closed position, in which the plate members (3, 4) lie against each other, and in which the attachment device (1) defines a through-going opening (6) for the cable (2), and an open position, in which the cable (2) can be removed from the attachment device (1). The first plate member (3) comprises a first locking slot (83) and the second plate member (4) comprises a second locking slot (84). The first and second locking slots (83, 84) are aligned in the closed position, whereby a locking member (13) can be inserted through both locking slots (83, 84) and lock the attachment device (2) in the closed position, in which the cable (2) cannot be out pulled through the through-going opening (6). The hinge axis (5) is parallel with the first and second plate members (3, 4) and that the through-going opening (6) is tubular.

The smart cable may be integrated into a vehicle, or otherwise may communicate with a vehicle. The vehicle includes one or more ports configured to house the cable when not in use. In some embodiments, an accessory includes one or more ports configured to engage with the connector. In some embodiments, the cable is affixed to the vehicle at one end, using a retractor, for example, and can be unspooled, intertwined with equipment, and then secured to a port on the vehicle. The smart cable lock secures and releases a latch based on user indications and authorizations. For example, if the cable is destroyed or damaged, or an unauthorized indication is made, the cable lock system may sound an alarm, or otherwise alert the user.

The tamper proof tag, when affixed to the watch, ensures that the watch is authentic and prevents a user from tampering with the watch. The tamper proof tag also allows the watch to be worn while the tamper proof tag is affixed to watch and is minimally obstructive to the aesthetics of the watch. This provides a purchasing user with confidence that the watch is authentic, while also allowing the user to try on the watch without having to remove the tamper proof tag. The tamper proof tag also protects the seller from a user that may attempt to tamper with the watch after purchase. For example, the seller may condition returns for a sold watch on the tamper proof tag remaining affixed to the watch.

The cable is configured to be extended from the recoiler in response to the sensor being lifted off of the base, and the cable is configured to be retracted into the recoiler in response to the sensor being moved to a seated position on the base. The helical recess is configured to at least partially receive the cable therein as the cable is wound on the rotatable member.
