    摘要: Provided is a liquid level detection device which is configured so that an arm can be easily mounted to a holder after the holder is pivotably mounted using a cover and a main body portion. An end of a float arm is bent at a substantially right angle, and the end side of the float arm is defined as a first end portion. The portion of the float arm which is located closer to the center of the float arm than the first end portion is defined as a second end portion. A first arm mounting portion to which the first end portion is affixed and second arm mounting portions to which the second end portion is affixed are provided to a holder. A stopper for restricting the pivot range of the holder is provided to a main body portion. A first stopper which comes into contact with the stopper is provided to the holder. The first arm mounting portion and the first stopper are provided on a line passing through the pivot axis of the holder and perpendicular to the pivot axis.

    摘要: A filling level sensor having a lever arm which has a float at one end and is held at its other end by a clip. A resistance network is arranged on a substrate and to which a contact structure is assigned, the resistance network producing an electrical signal for the filling level as a function of the pivoted position of a lever arm. The clip is composed of an electrically conductive plastic and has an electrical contact connected to the clip in an electrically conductive way, such that as the lever arm pivots said contact describes a circular path on the substrate. The area on the substrate over which the electrical contact passes is an electrically conductive contact face and is electrically conductively connected to a connecting line of the filling level sensor.

The fuel sender unit includes a float arm configured to move in relation to the volume of fuel held within the fuel tank. A fuel level sensor is coupled to the float arm. The fuel level sensor produces a resistance that varies with the position of the float arm to thereby produce a multi-slope sender profile including at least first, second, and third successive profile segments. The first profile segment has an average slope that is greater than that of the second profile segment, and the second profile segment has an average slope that is greater than that of the third profile segment.

    摘要: A liquid level sensor for insertion into a tank for measuring the liquid level in the tank comprises an elongate tubular frame and a float movable inside the frame to seek the liquid level. A float lock guide formed as an elongate member is mounted lengthwise inside the frame. A float lock formed as an elongate member is located inside the frame parallel to the float lock guide. A plurality of linkages is pivotally connected between the float lock guide and the float lock such that lengthwise movement of the float relative to the float lock guide causes corresponding lateral movement of the float in the frame between an unlocked position where the float is free to move lengthwise in the frame to seek the liquid level and a locked position where frictional forces retain the float between the float lock and an inner wall portion of the frame.
