摘要: A method for determining the fill level of a process medium arranged in a container using a TDR fill level meter having at least one signal line for guiding an electromagnetic signal, a signal line head and an electronics unit, the signal line extending into the process medium, the method having at least the steps of generating a pulsed transmitter signal with the electronics unit, wherein the transmission signal propagates along the signal line as measuring signal with changing amplitude, detecting and evaluating at least one reflection signal with the electronics unit, wherein the reflection signal is a reflection of the measuring signal on an interface between a first and a second medium having different impedances, the relative permittivity of the second medium is determined at least in dependence on the amplitude of the measuring signal transmitted through the first medium and the amplitude of the reflection signal.

摘要: A fire apparatus includes an engine, a water tank configured to store water, an agent tank configured to store a fire suppressing agent, a fuel tank configured to store a fuel used to power the engine, and a processing circuit. The processing circuit is configured to monitor the fluid level data indicating at least one of a water level within the water tank, a fire suppressing agent level within the agent tank, and a fuel level within the fuel tank; monitor fault data indicating any active faults of the fire apparatus; monitor maintenance data indicating whether maintenance is due; monitor exercise data indicating an elapsed time since the fire apparatus was last exercised; determine a readiness score based on the fluid level data, fault data, maintenance data, and exercise data; and at least one of transmit the readiness score to (i) a display device and (ii) a remote server.

摘要: Embodiments of methods, apparatuses, and systems for metering a level of a liquid are disclosed. One apparatus includes a float component, wherein the float component includes a sensor and a controller. The sensor senses a parameter usable to determine an inclination of the float component. The controller is operable to receive the sensed parameter, and communicate information based on the sensed parameter to an external controller. When operating to determine a level of a liquid within a container, the apparatus physically contacts the container. Further, at least one of the controller or the external controller is operative to estimate the inclination of the float component based on the sensed parameter, and determine the level of the liquid within the container based on the estimated inclination.

摘要: A method for adaptive calibration of a fuel level indicator of a filling level of a liquid in a tank accompanying operations. A filling level of the liquid is detected with a sensor arrangement. A sensor signal of the arrangement is provided during a movement of the vehicle. In case that the course of the sensor signal is obtained in a respective defined time interval in which the sensor signal is provided several times, a constant value is assumed, an end stop is detected. The respective time intervals at which the end stops were detected and the respective associated constant values are stored. A minimum number of end stop is defined for the tank, and in the case that the minimum number of end stops is reached, a calibration phase is carried out.

摘要: An information processing apparatus includes a communication interface and a controller. The communication interface receives, from a sensor container, information indicating an orientation of the sensor container. The controller, based on the information indicating the orientation of the sensor container, calculates a calculated value indicating a remaining amount of contents of the sensor container. The controller determines an estimated value of the remaining amount on the basis of the calculated value. The communication interface transmits the estimated value indicating the remaining amount to an external device. When the calculated value indicating the remaining amount decreases by a first predetermined value or more within a predetermined time period, the controller does not perform the determination of the estimated value on the basis of the calculated value.
