Abstract: A communication technique for convergence of a 5G communication system for supporting a higher data transmission rate beyond a 4G system with an IoT technology, and a system therefor. The disclosure may be applied to intelligent services based on a 5G communication technology and an IoT-related technology. A method of a terminal of a wireless communication system is provided. The method includes receiving, from a base station, downlink control information (DCI) for scheduling of data transmission/reception, checking priority information related to the DCI, based on the priority information, determining whether to perform data transmission/reception scheduled according to the DCI, and if the data transmission/reception is determined to be performed, performing the data transmission/reception, wherein the priority information is indicated by a priority information field in the DCI, is a value configured by higher layer signaling, or is related to a format of the DCI.

A method of operating a UE in a wireless communication system includes acquiring at least one of a source ID, a destination ID, or a cell ID, generating Sidelink Feedback Control Information (SFCI) to be transmitted through a sidelink feedback channel (Physical Sidelink Feedback Channel (PSFCH)), performing channel encoding and scrambling on the SFCI using at least one of the source ID, the destination ID, or the cell ID, and transmitting the SFCI through the PSFCH.

The sub-slots may have a time length shorter than that of a slot.
