Abstract:
A software-based electronic data discovery tool which accesses multiple electronic archives; copies files and their meta-data into a common repository; vertically de-duplicates and tags the files; horizontally de-duplicates and tags the files; filters and tags the files against a one or more sets of predetermined compliance and privileged criteria identified by one or more parties associated with a specific electronic data discovery procedure; profiles and tags select results; and produces a variety of reports and excerpts. Production is at least one of printing on paper, transferring to magnetic media, or other processes. Files that are selected for profiling and production are then rendered in TIFF or another related format and stored in a common file. All files are identified with a digital “finger print” and complete chain-of-custody information.
Abstract:
Methods and systems consistent with the present invention provide a comprehensive assessment and planning system. Methods and systems consistent with employ a preventive approach to predicting the likelihood of an entity entering a degraded future state by computing a risk value that reflects that likelihood. An embodiment applies to a comprehensive healthcare treatment and planning system. This healthcare system employs a preventive approach to healthcare by basing healthcare decisions on a multi-factorial computation of risk. The risk value is computed by evaluation of a function that considers a variety of historic, environmental, and systemic behaviors and conditions. In addition to considering a risk value, a treatment plan developed in accordance with the healthcare system considers symptoms and objectives of the treatment from the perspective of both the patient and the provider. The outcomes associated with treatment and risk assessment are fed back into the healthcare system to increase its accuracy and subsequent effectiveness in computing risk values over time.
Abstract:
A process for preparing polyamines of the formula ##STR1## by selective introduction of the groups Z--CH.sub.2 -- at the terminal nitrogens from a polyamine having no nitrogen substituents by formation of bis-hexahydropyrimidine derivative, acylation, reduction of acyl group to give Z--CH.sub.2 --, and solvolysis.
Abstract:
This invention provides an air freshener dispenser device in the form of a semi-rigid thermoplastic strip, which has the central area of both flat surfaces covered with a coextensive laminate of an inner vapor-permeable membrane and an outer peelable vapor-impermeable membrane. The respective membrane laminates enclose the central area of the strip which has at least one aperture accessing between the two laminate films. Preferably there are multiple apertures which serves as a reservoir for a volatile air freshener ingredient. Partial or complete removal of one or both peelablevapor-impermeable membranes allows delivery of the air freshener ingredient as vapor into the environment at a controlled rate over an extended time period.
