Abstract:
An actuator using a permanent magnet comprises: a first core and a second core facing each other with a certain gap and having a space therein; a hollow bobbin coil fixedly installed at one side of the space for generating a magnetic force at the time of a current supply; a stator fixedly installed at another side of the space with a certain gap from the bobbin coil; a mover linearly moving in the space by a magnetic force generated by the bobbin coil, and having a rod portion exposed to outside of the first core and the second core; and a permanent magnet fixedly installed at an inner surface of the space for fixing the mover. In the actuator, one bobbin coil is provided thus to lower a production cost, and a driving function is enhanced. Accordingly, the actuator can be widely applied to a vacuum circuit breaker or a high speed transfer switch requiring a fast driving.

Abstract:
A display apparatus includes a gate driver which sequentially outputs a gate signal at a high state in response to a gate control signal and a data driver which converts image data into a data signal in response to a data control signal. The display apparatus further includes a display panel which includes a plurality of gate lines which sequentially receive the gate signal, a plurality of data lines which receive the data signal and a plurality of pixels connected to the gate and data lines and which receive the data signal in response to the gate signal to display an image. The polarity of the data signal is inverted after the gate signal transitions to a low state.

An organic light emitting display apparatus that has high (or improved) contrast and/or impact resistance. The organic light emitting display apparatus includes: a substrate; an organic light emitting device on the substrate to display an image; a sealing member on the organic light emitting device; a semitransparent film on a surface of the sealing member facing away from the organic light emitting device to transmit a portion of external light and to reflect another portion of the external light; a passivation film on the semitransparent film to protect the semitransparent film; and a transmissive black layer between the sealing member and the organic light emitting device to increase contrast, wherein the semitransparent film has a refractive index greater than that of the passivation film.
Abstract:
A gate drive circuit of a display device includes a plurality of stages, each stage being coupled to at least one other stage. A current stage among the stages includes a gate section, a carry section, a buffer section, and a reset section. The gate section generates a current gate signal and the carry section generates a current carry signal. The buffer section receives a previous carry signal from a previous stage, and then turns on the gate section and the carry section. The reset section receives a next carry signal from next stages, and then turns off the gate section and the carry section. As the current stage is reset in response to the next carry signal, the function of the gate drive circuit is increased.
