    摘要: A liquid crystal display apparatus includes a backlight unit, a second polarization layer, a liquid crystal layer disposed between the backlight unit and the second polarization layer, a first polarization layer disposed between the backlight unit and the liquid crystal layer. In an embodiment, a surface of the first polarization layer facing the backlight unit includes a reflective surface and a surface of the first polarization layer facing the backlight unit includes an absorbent surface. In another embodiment, the first polarization layer includes grids, which include a metal, and absorbing members, which include dielectric materials. In another embodiment, the first polarization layer includes grids, each of which includes a first component including a dielectric material and a second component including a metal.

    摘要: An organic electroluminescent display device and a method of producing the same are provided. The organic electroluminescent display device includes: a substrate; and an organic electroluminescent unit formed on a surface of the substrate and including a first electrode, an organic layer and a second electrode sequentially deposited on the substrate, in which the organic electroluminescent display device includes a diffraction grating layer having low refractive gratings and high refractive gratings alternately formed parallel to the substrate, and a high refractive layer formed on the diffraction grating layer interposed between the substrate and the first electrode. According to the organic electroluminescent display device, the light coupling efficiency can be increased due to minimized voids and unevenness generated in the formation of a diffraction grating layer, optical losses due to a first electrode can be prevented due to a high refractive layer interposed between the diffraction grating layer and the first electrode to focus light distribution on the high refractive layer, and the light coupling efficiency can be maximized due to increased light distribution in the diffraction grating layer.

    摘要: A flat panel display and a method of manufacturing the same are disclosed. In one embodiment, the manufacturing method includes: i) preparing a substrate, ii) forming a plurality of subpixels on the substrate and iii) forming a light resonating layer including two or more layers on the subpixels, wherein the light resonating layer varies in thickness depending on the subpixels. According to at least one embodiment, it is possible to improve the brightness and the external light coupling efficiency. Further, it is possible to easily manufacture the light resonating layer with the structure in which the low refractive layers alternate with the high refractive layers.

    摘要: An organic light emitting device (OLED) and a method for manufacturing the same are disclosed. In one embodiment, the OLED includes i) a pixel layer having a first electrode, a second electrode, and a light emitting portion interposed between the first electrode and the second electrode and having at least an emission layer, ii) a transparent member disposed in a direction in which light generated from the pixel layer is transmitted, iii) a diffraction grating disposed between the pixel layer and the transparent member, and iv) a low-refractive layer made of a material having a refractive index less than that of a material forming the transparent member, the low-refractive layer disposed between the diffraction grating and the transparent member. The OLED can prevent image spreading and deterioration in color purity while having enhanced light coupling efficiency.
