Abstract: A user equipment (UE) and related techniques are disclosed. In one aspect, the UE provides, to one or more wireless nodes of a radio access network (NG-RAN) associated with the core network or a second network entity of the core network different from the first entity, an indication of sensing directions for transmitting and receiving a radar signal to sense an environment of the apparatus. Latency may be reduced for tracking targets by skipping exhaustive scanning or complex full processing by exploiting prior sensing measurement reports collected by a sensing management function (SnMF). In this way, interference may be reduced and less resource and power usage may be enabled for sensing functions. In one case, sensing directions can be indicated in GCS and translated to a respective sensors' beam direction in LCS at NG-RAN or UE for efficient beam management. In one case, SnMF indicates a sensing direction in LCS to NG-RAN or UE for sensing signal transmission and/or reception.

Abstract: Various aspects of the present disclosure generally relate to wireless communication. In some aspects, a remote user equipment (UE) may receive an identifier associated with a relay UE and an identifier associated with a serving cell of the relay UE for a path switch. The UE may receive a local identifier associated with the remote UE based at least in part on connecting with the relay UE over a sidelink interface. The UE may identify, based at least in part on receiving the local identifier, a path switch failure condition associated with the relay UE while the relay UE is in an idle state or an inactive state. Numerous other aspects are described.

Abstract: Disclosed are techniques for wireless communication. In an aspect, a user equipment (UE) transmits, to a plurality of UEs, a request capabilities message for a sidelink positioning session among the plurality of UEs, wherein the request capabilities message includes a first group identifier for the UE and the plurality of UEs, receives a plurality of sidelink positioning capabilities messages from the plurality of UEs, wherein each of the plurality of sidelink positioning capabilities messages includes the first group identifier and one or more capabilities of a corresponding UE of the plurality of UEs to participate in the sidelink positioning session, and transmits, to the plurality of UEs, based at least in part on the one or more capabilities of each of the plurality of UEs, a message indicating that one or more UEs of the plurality of UEs are not to participate in the sidelink positioning session.

Abstract: This disclosure provides systems, methods and apparatuses for discovery, by a user connected to a first network, of an edge application server (EAS) associated with a second network. In some aspects, techniques described herein provide a shared EAS discovery function (EASDF), which allows users connected to different home networks to discover EASs across a plurality of networks. Some techniques described herein provide communication between EASDFs of different networks. Thus, a user connected to a first network can discover an EAS of a second network, which enables sharing of EASs across networks. Furthermore, techniques described herein provide communication between a UE connected to a first network and an edge data network (EDN) (such as an EAS hosted by the EDN) of a second network, such as by establishing a connection between a user plane function of the first network associated with the UE and a network entity of the second network.

Abstract: Systems and techniques are provided for wireless communications. A first UE can determine assistance information corresponding to one or more uplink (UL) transmissions of the first UE, the assistance information indicative of a periodicity of the one or more UL transmissions. The one or more UL transmissions can be vehicle-to-everything (V2X) UL transmissions of the first UE. The first UE can transmit the assistance information to a network entity. The network entity can determine a discontinuous reception (DRX) configuration for a second UE based on the assistance information, the DRX configuration indicative of a DRX on-duration. The second UE can receive information indicative of the DRX configuration from the network entity. The second UE can receive, from the network entity and during the DRX on-duration, a downlink transmission associated with the first UE. The downlink transmission can be a V2X downlink transmission.

Abstract: Various aspects of the present disclosure generally relate to wireless communication. In some aspects, a user equipment (UE) may receive an indication to transmit a packet based at least in part on receiving a packet data convergence protocol (PDCP) status report during an active state of a timer, or based at least in part on an expiration of the timer. The UE may transmit the packet based at least in part on the indication. Numerous other aspects are described.

Abstract: Methods, systems, and devices for wireless communication are described. A user equipment (UE) may receive a signal indicating respective execution conditions for a conditional handover (CHO) procedure for each of one or more candidate handover groups, the one or more candidate handover groups comprising a candidate cell group and a candidate relay group, and each candidate handover group associated with a different priority level. The UE may select a handover candidate for performing the CHO procedure based at least in part on determining that the respective execution condition is satisfied for one or more handover candidates of the one or more candidate handover groups and on the respective priority levels of the one or more candidate handover groups. The UE may perform the CHO procedure to the selected handover candidate.
