Abstract: A shoe includes an outsole including a ground contact surface to be in contact with the ground, and an upper attached directly or indirectly to the outsole opposite to the ground contact surface. The outsole includes an outsole body, and a roll-up portion extending from an edge of the outsole body toward the upper. The outsole also includes a flexible region in which at least one cut is formed to extend from the outsole body to the roll-up portion.

Abstract: A prediction device includes: an input device that receives an input of measurement data of the foot shape of the person in a first loaded state, a processing circuitry is using a prediction model trained by machine learning to predict the foot shape of the person in a second loaded state in which a load is different from the first loaded state based on the measurement data received by the input device, and an output device that outputs prediction data of the foot shape of the person in the second loaded state predicted by the processing circuitry. The prediction model is generated in advance through training by machine learning based on training measurement data of a foot shape of a person for training in the first loaded state and training shape data of the foot shape of the person for training in the second loaded state.

The data received by the input device at least includes first data associated with a user's foot shape and second data associated with an inside of the footwear. The processing circuitry calculates the design data based on the first data and the second data.

Abstract: A posture estimating device includes: at least one sensor attached to the person to be measured, the at least one sensor acquiring walking data based on an acceleration of three axes and an angular velocity of the three axes at at least one location of the person to be measured; a processing circuitry that estimates, using an estimation model trained by machine learning, the whole body posture of the person to be measured during the predetermined motion from the walking data acquired by the sensor; and an output device that outputs estimation data. The estimation model is generated in advance by training by machine learning based on the walking data acquired by the sensor during the predetermined motion and based on posture data obtained by measuring the whole body posture of the person to be measured at a timing when the walking data is acquired.
