    Abstract: A method, system, and device to obtain a basic subcarrier spacing, or a channel bandwidth, or a maximum transmission bandwidth, or a usable subcarrier spacing set via a predefined mapping rule is provided. In an embodiment, a method in a network component to determine a system numerology includes determining, by the network component, one or more subcarrier spacing options from a candidate subcarrier spacing set that is associated with a carrier frequency band. The method also includes transmitting, by the network component, a signal indicating to one or more UEs one or more subcarrier spacing options from the candidate subcarrier spacing set.

    Abstract: A resource indication method and an apparatus are provided, to increase a data reception success rate of a terminal. The method includes: receiving, by a terminal, first indication information from a base station, where the first indication information is used to indicate a resource configuration for a downlink data transmission, the resource configuration includes a time scheduling unit aggregation level and a time domain location in a single time scheduling unit, and the aggregation level represents a quantity of time scheduling units included in a resource for the downlink data transmission; and determining, by the terminal, that a time domain resource in the single time scheduling unit is valid for each time scheduling unit of one or more time scheduling unit a quantity of which is represented by the aggregation level, and receiving the downlink data transmission accordingly.

    Abstract: The present invention provides a method for processing an enhanced physical downlink control channel (EPDCCH), a network-side device, and a user equipment. The method includes: notifying a user equipment (UE) of M physical resource block (PRB) sets used for EPDCCH transmission and N reference signal (RS) configurations used for EPDCCH downlink control information (DCI) rate matching and/or EPDCCH resource mapping, and notifying the UE of correspondence between the M PRB sets and the N RS configurations, where N is a positive integer greater than 1, and M is a positive integer; and performing the EPDCCH DCI rate matching and/or the EPDCCH resource mapping according to the correspondence between the M PRB sets and the N RS configurations.

    Abstract: This application discloses a resource mapping method and an apparatus. The method includes the following steps: receiving, by user equipment, a first resource message sent by a base station, where the first resource message includes a transmission time unit and an offset value corresponding to the transmission time unit; and determining, by the user equipment, a time-frequency resource location of a physical channel or a physical signal in the transmission time unit based on the transmission time unit and the offset value. The physical downlink data channel transmission method provided in the embodiments of the present application includes: mapping a physical downlink data channel to a time-frequency resource in at least one timeslot, where a time-frequency resource in each timeslot includes at least one enhanced physical resource block pair, and the enhanced physical resource block pair includes two consecutive physical resource blocks in a frequency domain in a same timeslot; and sending the physical downlink data channel to UE. In the embodiments of the present application, a transmission time interval of the physical downlink data channel can be reduced.

    Abstract: Embodiments of the present invention disclose a method, an apparatus, and a system for transmitting control information. The method includes: determining enhanced resource element group numbers in resource blocks, and determining, according to the resource element group numbers, positions of resource elements corresponding to enhanced resource element groups; interleaving the enhanced resource element group numbers, and determining an enhanced control channel element; determining, according to the enhanced control channel element and the positions of the resource elements corresponding to the enhanced resource element groups, positions of resource elements corresponding to the enhanced control channel element; and transmitting corresponding control information on the positions of the resource elements corresponding to the control channel element. The present invention alleviates a problem that channel frequency diversity is poor, and lowers the probability of loss of information of a terminal device.
