    Abstract: In one aspect, the present specification discloses a transmission/reception method in a machine type communication (MTC) apparatus. The transmission/reception method for the MTC apparatus may comprise the steps of: receiving information about the specific number of a bundle of downlink control channels which are receivable on a plurality of downlink subframes; and determining the location of the downlink subframe in which the specific-number bundle of downlink control channels can finish reception in accordance with time division duplex (TDD) uplink/downlink setting. Here, when the reception about the bundle of downlink control channels is not finished at the location of the determined downlink subframe, it can be assumed that the reception of the bundle of downlink control channels will continue up to the location of the fastest downlink subframe in which the specific-number bundle of downlink control channels can finish reception among the subframes according to the TDD method.

    Abstract: A method is provided for performing a random access procedure by a user equipment (UE) in a wireless communication system supporting coverage enhancement. The UE repeatedly transmits a physical random access channel (PRACH) signal, determines a random access radio network temporary identifier (RA-RNTI) corresponding to the PRACH signal using system frame number (SFN) information, wherein time index information and frequency index information are not used for determining the RA-RNTI, and monitors downlink control information masked by the determined RA-RNTI. The time index information indicates a subframe starting the repeated transmission of the PRACH signal, the frequency index information indicates a frequency index of the PRACH signal transmitted in the starting subframe, and the SFN information indicates a radio frame starting the repeated transmission of the PRACH signal.

    Abstract: A disclosure of the present specification provides a method for transmitting a physical uplink control channel (PUCCH) by a terminal. The method may comprise the steps of: receiving multiple pieces of explicit configuration information on a PUCCH resource through higher layer signaling when a PUCCH should be repeatedly transmitted on a plurality of sub-frames; determining a PUCCH resource to which the PUCCH is transmitted, on the basis of the multiple pieces of the explicit configuration information; and repeatedly transmitting, onto the determined PUCCH resource, the PUCCH on the plurality of sub-frames, wherein the PUCCH resource to which the PUCCH is transmitted is determined on the basis of one of a PDCCH, an EPDCCH, and an identification (ID) of the terminal, which have been received previously.

    Abstract: A method for a user equipment (UE) performing measurements is provided. The UE performs measurements for a first cell and measurements for a second cell. If the first cell corresponds to a primary cell, a first measurement subframe pattern is applied to perform the measurement for the first cell. If the second cell does not correspond to the primary cell and if the second cell is in a deactivated state, a measurement timing configuration for a discovery signal is applied to perform the measurement for the second cell.
