Abstract: The present invention relates to video encoding and decoding method and apparatus, and a video encoding method according to the present invention comprises the steps of: entropy-encoding quantized transform information; and transmitting the entropy-encoded information as a bitstream, wherein the bitstream includes information indicating pieces of information to be parallel decoded in byte units.
