    Abstract: Methods, systems, and devices for wireless communications are described. A first UE may receive, from a second UE such as a PLC, sidelink control information scheduling a first transmission to be transmitted by the first UE to the second UE on a first set of resources in a dedicated resource pool for sidelink control signaling. The first UE may receive an indication that a second transmission is scheduled to be transmitted by the first UE on a second set of resources which at least partially overlaps in time with the first set of resources. The first UE may transmit at least one of the first transmission or the second transmission in accordance with a conflict resolution rule based on the second set of resources at least partially overlapping with the first set of resources.

    Abstract: Methods, systems, and devices for wireless communications are described. In some wireless communications networks, a first wireless device may transmit sidelink control information to a second wireless device, which includes a first scheduling for an uplink transmission by a second wireless device during a first slot. The second wireless device may decode the sidelink control information to determine an operating mode of the first wireless device during the first slot, such as a transmitting mode or a receiving mode. Based on the operating mode, the second wireless device may drop or delay the uplink transmission. In some cases, the first wireless device may schedule an uplink transmission to be performed by the second wireless device during a second slot, and the first wireless device may switch from a transmitting mode to a receiving mode in order to receive the scheduled uplink transmission from the second wireless device.

    Abstract: Various aspects of the present disclosure generally relate to wireless communication. In some aspects, a user equipment (UE) may receive an indication of a mapping between a plurality of sets of hybrid automatic repeat request (HARQ) processes and a corresponding plurality of HARQ process types. The UE may configure one or more HARQ processes of the UE based at least in part on the indication. In some aspects, a base station may transmit, to a UE, an indication of a mapping between a plurality of sets of HARQ processes and a corresponding plurality of HARQ process types. The base station may select a HARQ process, of the plurality of HARQ processes, to be used for a communication with the UE based at least in part on the mapping. Numerous other aspects are provided.

    Abstract: Methods, systems, and devices for wireless communications are described. A transmitting user equipment (UE) may determine a set of resources for sidelink communication with one or more neighboring UEs. The transmitting UE may transmit multiple sidelink control messages to the neighboring UEs indicating the set of resources are reserved for a sidelink data message. The neighboring UEs may receive at least one of the sidelink control messages. A neighboring UE may determine a portion of the resources are reserved for a sidelink data message with the transmitting UE and may transmit or receive the sidelink data message using the portion of the resources. Additionally or alternatively, a neighboring UE may determine the resources are reserved for a sidelink data message between the transmitting UE and another neighboring UE and may select alternative resources for sidelink data messages to may avoid using the reserved resources.

Some wireless communications systems may support improved assignment techniques for dynamic group common physical control channels. In some cases, a user equipment (UE) may receive a control message via a group common control channel. The control message may be monitored by a plurality of UEs, and the control message may include one or more control information segments for a set of UEs of the plurality. The control message may include one or more integer values associated with respective control information segments and a prime number. The integer values and the prime number may be configured to address each UE of the set of UEs. The UE may process the prime number, the integer values, and an integer value that corresponds to an identifier (ID) of the UE to determine applicability of the control message to the UE.

    Abstract: Methods, systems, and devices for wireless communications are described. Devices in a wireless communications system may support different configurations to support intra-symbol multiplexing for communications between the devices using a single carrier waveform. For example, the different configurations may include symbol level cyclic prefixes, device-specific or channel-specific cyclic prefixes, device-specific or channel-specific guard intervals, or a combination thereof to support the intra-symbol multiplexing. That is, the cyclic prefixes or guard intervals may separate different fractions of a symbol, such that individual signals communicated in each of the different fractions do not leak into a subsequent fraction to cause interference. In some implementations, the cyclic prefixes or guard intervals may be enabled for a subset of devices or channels. A configuration for this intra-symbol multiplexing with device-specific or channel-specific cyclic prefixes or guard intervals may be signaled in a control message to the corresponding devices.

    Abstract: Methods, systems, and devices for wireless communications are described. A communication device, such as a user equipment (UE) may transmit a message to a base station (e.g., a NodeB, an eNodeB (eNB), a next-generation NodeB or a giga-NodeB (either of which may be referred to as a gNB)) in wireless communications with the UE. The message may include a UE capability to append a preamble waveform to an uplink transmission to the base station. In some examples, a preamble waveform may include a Wi-Fi preamble or a new radio unlicensed (NR-U) preamble. Based on the UE capability, the base station may determine and transmit a preamble configuration to the UE, which the UE may use to generate and append a preamble waveform to another message for an uplink transmission to the base station.

    Abstract: Aspects described herein relate to beam sweep based semi-persistent signaling (SPS) or configured grant (CG) activation. In one aspect, a network entity may determine a beam sweep pattern for at least one of a SPS based downlink periodic transmission, an uplink control transmission for the SPS based downlink periodic transmission, or a CG based uplink periodic transmission. The network entity may further transmit an indication including the beam sweep pattern to a user equipment (UE). In another aspect, a UE may receive a beam sweep pattern for at least one of a SPS based downlink periodic transmission, an uplink control transmission for the SPS based downlink periodic transmission, or a CG based uplink periodic transmission from a network entity.
