Abstract: Methods, systems, and devices for wireless communications are described. A user equipment (UE) may be configured to indicate to a base station a distribution of transmit antennas and receive antennas across a set of antenna panels, and the base station may configure resource sets for reference signal transmissions from the antenna panels based on the indicated distribution. In a first example, the UE may be configured to indicate a respective number of transmit antennas and receive antennas at each antenna panel. In a second example, the UE may be configured to indicate a sum of transmit antennas and a sum of receive antennas across all antenna panels, along with information on how the transmit antennas and receive antennas are distributed. Based on the indication, the base station may configure resource sets for reference signal transmission on sets of ports in resources of the resource sets.

Abstract: Methods, systems, and devices for wireless communications are described. The described techniques provide for flexible cyclic redundancy check (CRC) lengths for downlink control information (DCI) message. For example, a network entity may determine a length of a CRC applied to a DCI message based on an attribute of the DCI message. In some examples, relationships between attributes of the DCI message and CRC lengths may be stored or configured at a user equipment (UE) or may be indicated to the UE via additional control signaling from the network entity. In some examples, the UE may transmit, to the network entity, a capability of the UE to support flexible CRC lengths for DCI messages. Varying the length of the CRC applied to the DCI message based on one or more attributes of the DCI message may enable the network entity to effectively balance overhead, payload size, and frequency of false alarms.

Abstract: Various aspects of the present disclosure generally relate to wireless communication. In some aspects, a network node may derive a first potential length for a phase tracking reference signal demodulation reference signal (PTRS-DMRS) association bitfield based at least in part on a simultaneous transmissions with multiple panels (STxMP) configuration. The network node may derive a second potential length for the PTRS-DMRS association bitfield based at least in part on a single transmit receive point (sTRP) configuration. The network node may select a finalized length based at least in part on the first potential length and the second potential length. The network node may indicate a relationship between a PTRS port and a DMRS port based at least in part on transmitting downlink control information (DCI) using a DCI configuration that is associated with the finalized length of the PTRS-DMRS association bitfield. Numerous other aspects are described.

Abstract: The apparatus may be associated with at least a first TRP (or wireless device) and may be configured to transmit (or receive) a first indication indicating a potential grant of resources for an uplink (UL) transmission for at least one wireless device. The apparatus may further be configured to receive (or transmit) a feedback indicating that the potential grant of the resources is accepted by a wireless device of the at least one wireless device. The apparatus may also be configured to at least one of transmit (or receive) a second indication indicating a grant of the resources for the UL transmission for the wireless device of the at least one wireless device, or receive (or transmit) the UL transmission via the resources indicated in the first indication or the second indication.

Abstract: Method and apparatus for multiplexing UCI with overlapping PUSCH based on a UCI type. The apparatus receives a configuration for multiple DCI operation including associations with CORESETs configured for the UE, the associations including CORESET pool index 0 or an absence of a CORESET pool index, and CORESET pool index 1. The apparatus transmits UCI multiplexed with a PUSCH from multiple overlapping PUSCHs that overlap in a time domain on a same carrier and overlap in the time domain with the UCI, the multiplexing being based on at least one of a type of the UCI, content of the UCI, a feedback mode or a carrier configuration.

Abstract: Various aspects of the present disclosure generally relate to wireless communication. In some aspects, a user equipment (UE) may receive a medium access control (MAC) control element (CE) that indicates an update to a spatial relation configuration of the UE for physical uplink control channel (PUCCH) transmissions. The update may apply to a first PUCCH resource and may apply to other PUCCH resources in a group of PUCCH resources to which the first PUCCH resource belongs based at least in part on a bit included in the update or an indication of which PUCCH resources are to be in the group of PUCCH resources. The UE may update the spatial relation configuration of the UE for the first PUCCH resource or for all PUCCH resources in the group of PUCCH resources. The UE may transmit a PUCCH communication on at least the first PUCCH resource. Numerous other aspects are described.
