    Abstract: Systems and methods are provided for relocating an overlay overlapping information in content. The systems and methods may comprise receiving a content item, the content item comprising a video image, and determining a first screen position of an information box (e.g., a score box) in the video image. Determining may be performed with image analysis and/or a machine learning model. The system receives an overlay image (e.g., a channel logo) with a second screen position and determines if the second screen position (e.g., for the logo) overlaps the first screen position (e.g., for the score). In response to determining the second screen position (e.g., of the logo) overlaps the first screen position (e.g., the score), the system modifies the second screen position (e.g., for the logo). Then the system generates for display the overlay image on the video in the modified screen position. The system may not relocate the overlay if the overlay is a high priority.

    Abstract: Systems and methods are presented herein for modifying messages transmitted between a first computing device and a second computing device based on the determination of a context of messages transmitted between the first and second computing devices. A first message, prepared to be transmitted to a second computing device, is prepared at a first computing device. The message has a context (e.g., the message was generated using a voice-to-text application). Based on the context, a modification of a responsive message is determined (e.g., the responsive message will be transmitted with an indication to be perceived at the first computing device through a text-to-voice application). In response to determining the modification, the responsive message is modified and transmitted from the second computing device to the first computing device. The modification is based on the responsive message context being distinct from the received message context.

    Abstract: Systems and methods are described herein for retrieving an information file from a user profile about a scheduled trip, where access to content may be restricted and identifying, based on the consumption pattern, a first progression point before the scheduled start time and a second progression point after the scheduled end time of the scheduled trip. Based on the difference between the first and second progression points, the media guidance application causes to be stored the respective media assets on a consumption device. Then before departing for the scheduled trip, the media guidance application confirms the first progression points against the current progression point and causes to adjust the stored media assets based on a difference between the current progression point and the first progression point.

    Abstract: Systems and methods are described for generating a super-interface that aggregates content identifiers from different content sources. A super-interface is generated for display. The super-interface comprises a first interface that comprises a first plurality of content items available from a first content source and a second interface that comprises a second plurality of content items available from a second content source. The second content source is different from the first content source. The first interface and the second interface are simultaneously accessible to a first device. A user preference is detected based on a user interaction with the first interface.     Abstract: Systems and methods are provided for generating a customized media asset to incentivize a first user to subscribe to a subscription service. A first user provides their subscription access information to a media provider. In response to receiving the subscription access information, the media provider determines whether the subscription access information is from an account subscribed for a trial period. If the account is subscribed for the trial period, the media provider presents a plurality of media assets for selection to the first user, receives a selection of a media asset available from the subscription service, generates a customized media asset based on a media asset consumption profile of the first user, wherein the customized media asset includes a segment from an additional media asset different from the selected media asset, and presents to the first user the customized media asset instead of the selected media asset.

    Abstract: Systems and methods are presented herein for modifying messages transmitted between a first computing device and a second computing device based on the determination of a context of messages transmitted between the first and second computing devices. A first message, prepared to be transmitted to a second computing device, is prepared at a first computing device. Based on an identifier corresponding to the second computing device, a plurality of devices communicably coupled to the second computing device are determined. Selectable options are generated at the first computing device which, when selected, determine which of the second computing device or one of the plurality of communicably coupled devices will receive the transmitted message. Based on the selection of an option, the message may be modified to fit the format of the device corresponding to the selected option and transmitted to the device corresponding to the selected option.

    Abstract: Systems and methods for determining, based on recommendations provided by users that have consumed a media asset, which consumption options may be configured on a media device such that when configured enhance the user viewing experience for a specific media asset. The method includes accessing comments posted by other users that have consumed the media asset. The comments are analyzed to determine a consumption option recommendation. If the number of comments meet a threshold value, then the system either automatically configures the media device or configures the media device upon user approval with the recommended consumption option. The recommendation to configure a consumption option on the media device is made only if the recommendation is supported by the media device. The system also detects through audio and image analysis which users are consuming the media asset and accordingly configures the consumption options to their preferences.
