    摘要: Providing dynamic, interest-based change notifications includes detecting an event for an artifact managed by a collaborative system, determining a user subscribed to the artifact, and, responsive to the event, calculating a score for the event using a processor. The score is user-specific and indicates a level of interest of the user for the event. The score is compared with a threshold score. A change notification of the event is sent to the user responsive to determining that the score exceeds the threshold score.

    摘要: Systems and methods are provided for generating a base visual score for each candidate image of a plurality of images received by a computing system, based on the scene type of each image. For each candidate image, the computing system multiplies the base visual score by a feature importance weight to generate a first visual score, adds respective scene type bonus points to the first visual score to generate a second visual score, and adds diversity scoring points to the second visual score to generate a final visual score for each candidate image. The computing system ranks the candidate images based on the final visual scores and provides a specified number of the top-ranked candidate images to be displayed on a display of the computing device.

    摘要: A method for predicting the behavior of an electronic social network (ESN) includes identifying one user's connections with other users and creating a data structure in a memory that represents the users and their connections in the ESN. A plurality of data sources for electronic communications between users are analyzed and assigned a relative importance value. A weight is also assigned to each of the connections between the users. The weight is an encoded value computed based on a link structure of the connections where the link structure includes metadata indicating a category and a status of the respective connection. The probability that one user will communicate with one of the other users is calculated based on the analyzed plurality of data sources calculating, and the user's connections with respect to other users are ranked based on the calculated probabilities.

    摘要: A system and a method are disclosed for replacing a canceled accommodation for a guest user using reserved accommodations. In an embodiment, an accommodation management system retrieves information describing historical bookings and listings for accommodations in a region. The system determines common attributes of the listings and a historical cancelation rate of bookings. The system determines an amount of listings to reserve for a time period based on the historical cancelation rate and moves, from an available listing database to a reserved listing database, the amount of listings for the region, each listing including common attributes. The system sends an indication to each host user of the moved listings that the listing has become unavailable for the time period. The system receives an indication that a booking for a guest user has been canceled and books one of the listings in the reserved listing database for the guest user.

An online marketplace system determines an interest profile for a client user using profile data of the client user as input into an interest extraction model. The online marketplace system selects a content item for the client user based on the interest profile and causes presentation of the content item to the client user via a channel that is separate from the online marketplace system. In response to receiving a request to access the online marketplace system originated from the content item, the online marketplace system selects product recommendations based on interest profile and the content item. The online marketplace system generates a personalized landing webpage including the product recommendations and causes presentation of the personalized landing webpage to the client user.
