Abstract:
An anti-glare rearview mirror assembly and a reflectance control method thereof are disclosed. The assembly includes an electrochromic rearview mirrors, two rearward light sensors, and a comparative controller. The sensors receiving a first rearward light from a first specified region and a second rearward light from a second specified region at the same time point, respectively, wherein the first and second specified regions partially overlap with each other. The intensities of the first and second rearview mirror light are compared to obtain a light difference. The reflectance of the anti-glare rearview mirror is adjusted according to the light difference.
Abstract:
A thin-film electro-luminescence display includes a light-emitting layer for emitting light in response to an alternate current voltage; a back electrode layer disposed at a side of the light-emitting layer; and a light-transmitting conductive layer disposed at another side of the light-emitting layer opposite to the back electrode layer, and cooperating with the back electrode layer to provide the alternate current voltage for the light-emitting layer. The light-emitting layer and the light-transmitting conductive layer are patterned to define a plurality of independent display zones, and when the alternate current voltage is applied between the back electrode layer and the light-transmitting conductive layer in a specified portion of the display zones, light is emitted by the light-emitting layer in the specified portion of display zones to show a specific character.
Abstract:
A device for actuating and positioning a vehicular monitoring device responsive to a vehicular status indicator, includes an actuating device in communication with the vehicular status indicator and the vehicular monitoring device, and a positioning device in communication with the vehicular monitoring device and the actuating device. The actuating device actuating the vehicular monitoring device to move from an initial position to a working position in response to the enabled vehicular status indicator, and actuating the vehicular monitoring device to return to the initial position in response to the disabled vehicular status indicator. The positioning device asserts a positioning signal to the actuating device according to a current position of the vehicular monitoring device for the reference of the actuating device.
Abstract:
A control method for automatically adjusting a view angle of a rearview mirror or a CCD camera of a turning vehicle is disclosed. The method includes steps of receiving an output of a navigation system; determining a turning level of the vehicle according to the output of the navigation system; and triggering the rearview mirror or the CCD camera to move to an extent corresponding to the turning level of the vehicle. A control device for automatically adjusting a view angle of a rearview mirror or a CCD camera of a turning vehicle in response to the output of an electronic compass or a global positioning system (GPS) is also disclosed. The control device includes a microprocessor to receive an output of the electronic compass or GPS, determine a turning level of the vehicle according to the output of the navigation system, and trigger the rearview mirror or CCD camera to move to an extent corresponding to the turning level of the vehicle
