摘要： Galactosylated hydroxyalkyl polysaccharides wherein galactose moieties are bound to the hydroxyalkyl polysaccharide by galactosidic bonds, and a process for preparing the galactosylated hydroxyalkyl polysaccharides having the steps: a) providing at least one hydroxyalkyl polysaccharide; and b) treating said hydroxyalkyl polysaccharide with a galactose donor in the presence of galactosidase enzyme for a time sufficient to convert at least a portion of said hydroxyl groups to galactosides.
