Abstract:
An electrical connector (100) comprises an insulative housing (1) with pluralities of terminals (2,4) thereon. The housing comprises two opposite sidewalls (101,102), two opposite endwalls (103) respectively located on two ends of the sidewalls and a receiving cavity (10) defined therebetween with an opening. A first and a second retaining wall (16,17) are located on each endwall (103) to define a groove (12) theretween, wherein the groove (12) defines a first latching portion (13) adjacent to the first retaining wall (16) near to the opening of the receiving cavity, and an entry (106) is defined between the first latching portion (13) and the second retaining wall (17). The slider (3) comprises a base plate (30), a tongue plate (32) insertable to the receiving cavity and two latching arms (33) insertable to the groove (12) through the entry (106).
Abstract:
The electrical connector includes a first main body, a number of first contacts, a second main body assembled on the first main body and with a head portion and a extending board, and a number of second contacts received in the second main body. The first contact includes a extending arm fixed on the base portion, a first mating portion extending from one end of the extending arm to be received in the first receiving passage. The second contact comprises a fastening arm fixed on the head portion and a second mating arm extending from the fastening arm to be received in the second contact slots. The first contact has a connecting arm extending from the other end of the extending portion opposite to the first mating arm. The connecting arm and the fastening arm are connected to each other.
Abstract:
An electrical connector includes a base portion defining a receiving cavity, a tongue plate portion retained in the receiving cavity and a first set of contacts retained in the tongue plate portion. The tongue plate portion defines a mating portion projecting out of the at least one receiving cavity for mating with a plug connector and receiving grooves thereon. The first set of contacts includes four first contacts each defining a retaining portion received in a corresponding receiving groove and retained in the receiving cavity, a contacting portion extending forwards from a front end of the retaining portion and a mounting portion. The retaining portion defines a pair of wings bending upwards from two side edges thereof and projecting out of the receiving groove, and the base portion defines corresponding pressing portions projecting to and pressing the wings.
Abstract:
An electrical connector includes an insulating housing defining a receiving cavity for receiving an FPC, a pressing member assembled on the insulating housing, a plurality of contacts received in the insulating housing and a pair of locking members retained on two ends of the insulating housing. The pressing member has a tongue plate inserted into the receiving cavity for urging the FPC. The tongue plate has a pair of standoff portions with a pair of depressed recesses thereon in order to engage with the locking members.
Abstract:
An electrical connector (100) includes an insulating housing (10) defining a receiving space (12) for receiving a sheet-like connection member. A plurality of conductive terminals (20) each defines a contacting portion (241, 251) projecting to the receiving space. A slider (40) includes a tongue portion (43) to be movable inserted into the receiving space (12) and urging the sheet-like connection member to engage with the contacting portions. The tongue portion has a first portion (431) and a second portion (43) in an inserting direction thereof, and the second portion (43) is shorter than the first portion (431) in a longitudinal direction perpendicular to the inserting direction.
