Abstract:
An electrical connector includes a base portion defining a receiving cavity, a tongue plate portion retained in the receiving cavity and a first set of contacts retained in the tongue plate portion. The tongue plate portion defines a mating portion projecting out of the at least one receiving cavity for mating with a plug connector and receiving grooves thereon. The first set of contacts includes four first contacts each defining a retaining portion received in a corresponding receiving groove and retained in the receiving cavity, a contacting portion extending forwards from a front end of the retaining portion and a mounting portion. The retaining portion defines a pair of wings bending upwards from two side edges thereof and projecting out of the receiving groove, and the base portion defines corresponding pressing portions projecting to and pressing the wings.
Abstract:
An electrical connector includes an insulating housing defining a receiving cavity for receiving an FPC, a pressing member assembled on the insulating housing, a plurality of contacts received in the insulating housing and a pair of locking members retained on two ends of the insulating housing. The pressing member has a tongue plate inserted into the receiving cavity for urging the FPC. The tongue plate has a pair of standoff portions with a pair of depressed recesses thereon in order to engage with the locking members.
Abstract:
An electrical connector (100) includes an insulating housing (10) defining a receiving space (12) for receiving a sheet-like connection member. A plurality of conductive terminals (20) each defines a contacting portion (241, 251) projecting to the receiving space. A slider (40) includes a tongue portion (43) to be movable inserted into the receiving space (12) and urging the sheet-like connection member to engage with the contacting portions. The tongue portion has a first portion (431) and a second portion (43) in an inserting direction thereof, and the second portion (43) is shorter than the first portion (431) in a longitudinal direction perpendicular to the inserting direction.
Abstract:
An electrical connector (100) includes an insulative housing (10) with a base portion (11, 12), a first engaging portion (14) and a second engaging portion (121) extending from the base portion along same direction, a plurality of conductive terminals (30) retained in the insulative housing (10) and a shielding member (20) assembled on the housing. The shielding member (20) has a pair of sidewalls (21, 23) opposite to each other and a pair of end walls (22) surrounding the first engaging portion (14) thereby forming a mating cavity between thereof. One of the end walls (22) is served as a partition located between the first engaging portion (14) and the second engaging portion (121) which extends outwards through the shielding member (20) then nearly presses against the shielding member.
Abstract:
An electrical connector for connecting an FPC includes an insulating housing having a receiving space, a plurality of contacts received in the insulating housing and an actuator retained on two ends of said insulating housing. Each contact includes a pivot arm engaging with said actuator and frontwardly extending into said receiving space. Said pivot arm defines a first engaging notch and a protrusion on a bottom edge thereof. The actuator has a rotatable cam portion rotatablely engaged with said first engaging notch. Said protrusion is formed on a frontal tip end of said pivot arm and extends much lower than said rotatable cam portion in a vertical direction, which prevents the FPC from contacting with said rotatable portion firstly during the process of the insertion.

Abstract:
A multi-protection touch lock has a lock body and an unlocking panel connecting to the lock body. The lock body has a control mechanism, a locking unit connecting to the control mechanism, and at least one displaying unit connecting to the control unit, and at least one connection interface connecting to the displaying unit. The at least one unlocking panel has at least one transmission interface connecting to the at least one connection interface, and at least one operating unit connecting to the at least one transmission interface. The lock can be located at the predetermined position to control the door access, vehicle actuation and the use of electrical appliances. When unlocking, the unlocking panel comes to in contact with the lock and the correct password is input via the unlocking panel. After the unlocking action is completed, the unlocking panel is removed from the predetermined position.
Abstract:
An electrical connector assembly comprises an electrical connector (100) for connecting a sheet-like connection member (5) with a plurality of conductive pads (50) thereon. The electrical connector includes an insulating housing (1) defining a receiving cavity (10) for receiving the FPC and a plurality of conductive terminals (2) retained in the insulating housing to connect the corresponding conductive pads. Each terminal (2) comprises two resilient arms (24,25) located at one side of the receiving cavity (10) and having contact portions at their distal ends to be exposed to the receiving cavity to electrically contact with one single conductive pad (50) which can increase the reliability of the connection between the conductive terminal and the conductive pad of the FPC.
