Abstract:
An ice-full state sensing device for an ice making apparatus is provided. A panel disposed at a side of an ice maker to support components. An ejection unit includes an ejector supported by the panel to eject ice made by the ice maker. A driving unit rotates the ejection unit clockwise or counterclockwise within a predetermined angle range. A link unit operates in relation to the ejection unit. An ice-full state sensing lever is connected to an end portion of the link unit to sense an ice-full state of an ice bank during a vertical movement thereof by the link unit. Accordingly, the device can perform an ice-full state sensing operation in a narrow space, and the apparatus can be installed in a narrow space.
Abstract:
The present invention relates to an obturator for a refrigerator for cutting off heat or cool air transferred to and from a refrigerator. The present invention is comprised of a door gasket having an air bag that is transformed and rotated freely, and a projecting portion that is projected from at least one of the inner case and the refrigerator door liner, so that inflow of heat from outside or from a hot-line, into an inside of the refrigerator and leakage of the inside cool air of the refrigerator to the outside, are cut off or minimized and insulation performance is improved remarkably.
Abstract:
An ice bank of an ice-making device for a refrigerator is disclosed, for smooth crush and discharge of ice, which includes a housing for storing ice made in an icemaker, and provided rotatably to apply the power to the stored ice at a rotation direction; an ice discharger having at least one hole through which the ice is discharge to the external; a crusher provided in the inside of the housing, the crusher guiding the stored ice to the hole of the ice discharge and crushing the ice as a predetermined size before discharging the ice to the hole according to a user's select; and rotating means for rotating the housing. Also, the crusher includes fixed crushing means fixed to the inside of the housing, and rotation crushing means rotated for being synchronized with the housing so as to crush the ice before discharging the ice to the external according to a user's select.
Abstract:
Disclosed herein is a machine room back cover integrated with a condenser for a refrigerator, which is capable of protecting a machine room in which a compressor as one of elements constituting a refrigeration cycle is provided and serving as a heat emission plate by which coolant heat emitted from a condenser is dissipated outside the refrigerator by contacting with air introduced from the external of the machine room. The present invention provides a back cover integrated with a condenser for a refrigerator, which is provided outside a machine room of the refrigerator, for protecting the machine room containing a compressor for pressurizing coolant evaporated into a low-temperature low-pressure gaseous state by an evaporator into a high-temperature high-pressure gaseous state and a condenser connected to the compressor for condensing the coolant pressurized by the compressor into a high-temperature high-pressure liquid state, wherein said condenser is formed in integral with an inner side of said back cover. In addition, a heat area in which said condenser is contacted with air introduced from the external of said machine room is enlarged by increasing an area of said back cover integrated with said condenser so as to increase an amount of heat exchange of said condenser with the introduced air.
Abstract:
A refrigerant circulation apparatus utilizing two evaporators operating at respectively different evaporating temperatures which is capable of efficient refrigerant circulation by performing a heat exchange by contact between a refrigerant pipe guiding refrigerant discharged from a condenser to an evaporator and a refrigerant pipe guiding refrigerant discharged from the evaporator to a compressor in order to enhance the refrigerating ability when an evaporator is operated at a high evaporating temperature and pressure, includes a compressor, a condenser, a plurality of evaporators operating at different respective evaporating temperatures, a first plurality of refrigerant pipes for guiding the refrigerant discharged from the condenser to the plurality of evaporators, and a second plurality of refrigerant pipes predetermined portions of which are in heat exchanging contact with the first plurality of refrigerant pipes.
Abstract:
A refrigeration-cycle apparatus is provided that includes a plurality of evaporators having various temperature bands, along with a refrigerator including a plurality of cooling compartments to enable stable and even cooling operations in various temperature bands using the plurality of evaporators. The refrigeration-cycle apparatus and the refrigerator enable individual operation of a portion of the plurality of evaporators, thereby reducing consumption of energy and enabling accurate control of an interior temperature of the refrigerator. The refrigeration-cycle apparatus includes a compressor that compresses and discharges a refrigerant, a condensing device including at least one condenser that condenses the refrigerant discharged from the compressor, a distributor that distributes the refrigerant condensed in the condensing device, and a cold air generator including a plurality of evaporators that evaporates the refrigerant distributed by the distributor. The plurality of evaporators is connected in series and parallel to one another and operates, respectively, to generate cold air having different temperature bands from one another.
