Abstract: A tire assembly can include a rim and a pneumatic tire. A sound damper can be in a tire inner cavity, defined by an outer surface of the rim and an inner surface of the pneumatic tire, extending in a tire circumferential direction. The rim can have a rim diameter RD not greater than 18 inches. A ratio SH/SW of a cross-sectional height SH to a tire cross-sectional width SW of the pneumatic tire can be 30% to 45%. A ratio RW/SW of a rim width RW of the rim to the tire cross-sectional width SW can be 78% to 99%. The sound damper can include a sponge material adhered to at least one of the outer surface of the rim and the inner surface of the pneumatic tire. The sponge material can have a volume of not less than 0.4% of a total volume of the tire inner cavity.

Abstract: A tire includes a tread portion including first and second tread edges, three or more circumferential grooves, and four or more land portions. The circumferential grooves include a first shoulder circumferential groove nearest to the first tread edge. Each land portion is provided with only sipes and is not provided with lateral grooves. The land portions include a first shoulder land portion having the first tread edge, and a first middle land portion adjacent to the first shoulder land portion. The first middle land portion is provided with first middle sipes traversing the first middle land portion completely in the tire axial direction. The first shoulder land portion is provided with first shoulder sipes extending from the first shoulder circumferential groove to the first tread edge. The first shoulder sipes have a circumferential pitch length smaller than a circumferential pitch length of the first middle sipes.

Abstract: A tire includes a tread portion including a first land region defined by main grooves. The first land region includes a first longitudinal edge and a second longitudinal edge, and a ground contacting surface defined between the first longitudinal edge and the second longitudinal edge. The first land region is provided with two first grooves and a second groove. Each of the first grooves extends so as to connect the first longitudinal edge and the second longitudinal edge. The second groove extends so as to connect the first longitudinal edge and the second longitudinal edge while intersecting with each of the two first grooves. The second groove is not connected with other grooves than the first grooves in the ground contacting surface.

Abstract: A developing roller includes an electro-conductive shaft core and an elastic layer provided on an outer peripheral surface of the electro-conductive shaft core. The elastic layer includes a base layer formed of a rubber composition and an outermost layer formed on a surface of the base layer. The outermost layer is formed of a resin and is an incomplete film including a plurality of through-holes. A ratio of portions other than the through-holes of the outermost layer is 25% to 45% with respect to a total surface area of the elastic layer.

Abstract: A motorcycle tire comprises a carcass and a tread reinforcing layer. The tread reinforcing layer comprises a belt and a band. The band is composed of a jointless band ply having a developed width less than 65% of the developed tread width. The belt is composed of at least one belt ply having a developed width of 65% or more of the developed tread width. At first positions, the intersecting angle between the belt cords and the carcass cords is 20 to 60 degrees. In the tread portion in a tire meridional cross sectional view, a single arc passing through a point on the tread surface at the tire equator and two points on the tread surface at the tread edges has a radius of not more than 0.7 times the maximum tire cross-section width.
