Abstract:
Disclosed herein is a shredder having a rotatable device located adjacent an output opening of the shredder housing. The rotatable device includes a shaft configured to rotate about an axis parallel to an axis of the cutting assembly so as to allow for rotation of the device. The rotatable device has a plurality of fingers extending at least partially radially with respect to an axis of the shaft. The rotatable device is able to rotate about the shaft axis in either direction, so as to disperse any accumulation of shredded materials in the waste bin, as well as remove shredded materials caught in or near the cutting assembly within and adjacent the output opening.
Abstract:
A personal wearable communication and speaker entertainment system which provides improved quality audio response and which does not interfere with the wearer's activities or block environmental sounds is disclosed. The speaker system is connected to or in communication with a conventional source of audio signals, such as radio, tape player, CD player, cellular telephone or the like.
Abstract:
A collapsible apparatus includes a frame member being formed from a flexible twistable material, a first membrane and a second membrane, and an inflatable bladder. The second membrane is removably attachable to the first membrane.
Abstract:
Information on forward power is indicated in the erasure indicator bit of reverse traffic channel frame. A control station searches for the erasure indicator bit of reverse traffic channel frame transmitted from the a mobile, to judge if forward power control is required. The power is controlled according to a transmission rate previously stored when it is judged that the forward power control is required. The control station searches for the erasure indicator bit of reverse traffic channel frame again after the power control and varies the transmission rate according to the information on forward power, carrying out optimum forward power control.
Abstract:
A remotely controlled aircraft has a center member and a steering assembly. The steering assembly comprises a carriage, a remote control motor, a center member and a connecting arm. The carriage pivotably is attached to the center member. The remote control motor has a control arm and is disposed within the carriage. The center member arm has a first end and a second end. The first end of the center member arm is fixedly attached to the center member. The center member and the center member arm is arranged in a non-parallel manner. The connecting arm has a first end and a second end. The first end of the connecting arm is pivotably attached to the second end of the center member arm. The second end of the connecting arm is pivotably attached to the control arm of the remote control motor.
Abstract:
A digital photographing apparatus and a method of controlling the same. The method including setting a division frame configured by dividing a display screen; displaying a first input image in a first region of the set division frame; displaying the first input image captured according to a first photographing signal, in the first region; displaying a second input image in a second region of the set division frame; and displaying the second input image captured according to a second photographing signal in the second region.
Abstract:
An assembly has a bin level detection system having at least one sensor positioned to receive radiation reflected off any material deposited in a bin and to determine an intensity of the reflected radiation. The intensity corresponds to an amount or level of shredded material deposited in the bin. The system may detect radiation from one or more emitters, or, alternatively, detect ambient light entering the bin via a window. A level indicator system may also be provided to indicate the amount of material deposited in the bin, including if the bin is full. The assembly may comprise a shredder and a shredder housing.
Abstract:
The present invention relates to a shredder that includes a housing having a movable part that forms at least a part of an opening for the insertion of articles to be fed into the shredder. A detector detects motion of the movable part, and in response, a controller performs a predetermined operation, including, for example, stopping cutting elements of the shredder mechanism.
