Abstract:
A temporary line projection system designed to be grasped by hand and moved, by a single human operator, into a desired location as, for example, along the sidelines of a football field adjacent to where a first down line is to be projected. The system comprises a movable structure that is dimensioned and arranged to be supported by and project upwardly from an athletic field surface. A laser source is supported by the movable structure and is maintained by the movable structure at an elevated location relative to the athletic field surface. This allows the laser source to direct optical energy downward upon the field while the movable structure is maintained substantially in a first orientation relative to the athletic field surface. A sensing arrangement is operative to determine when the movable structure is no longer maintained substantially in the first orientation and a switch is operative to disable the laser source when the movable structure is no longer maintained substantially in the first orientation.
Abstract:
A water device for use in a water game in accordance with an embodiment of the present application includes a valve device providing a variable flow of water to a flat hose with a plurality of holes formed therein to allow water to spray from the top thereof. A user races the water in the flat hose to a finishing member to try beat the water there. An indicator may indicate if the user has won.
Abstract:
Presented is a device for charging a plurality of rechargeable batteries where each of the plurality of rechargeable batteries is disposed in a separate host electronic device during charging. The device includes a charging module, and a plurality of charging tips each in electrical communication with the charging module. Each of the plurality of charging tips is configured to electrically connect to a particular one of the separate host electronic devices and charge the one of the plurality of rechargeable batteries disposed therein. Charging parameters for each of the plurality of charging tips that are used for charging of the plurality of rechargeable batteries programmable by a user, determined by each of the plurality of charging tips, or determined by the charging module.
Abstract:
A nozzle discharge assembly includes a housing having a connection for receiving a pressurized supply of liquid and a nozzle having a discharge orifice movable relative to the housing. A mechanism controls a movement of the discharge orifice so that the discharge orifice moves in a pattern relative to the housing for creating a substantially helical stream of liquid when the pressurized supply of liquid flows through the discharge orifice.
Abstract:
A portable water sprinkling amusement device incorporates a water storage reservoir for transporting its own supply of water, at least one nozzle assembly defining at least one discharge orifice, an avenue of release establishing fluid communication between the water storage reservoir and the at least one nozzle assembly, and a fluid transfer system operative to develop forces for causing a stream of liquid to flow through the avenue of release and out of the discharge orifice upon actuation of an on/off mechanism.
Abstract:
An apparatus for providing at least one temporary visible line on a surface within the view of at least one video camera. The system comprises a first laser source disposed at a first elevated, stationary location relative to the surface, and a second laser source disposed at second elevated, stationary location relative to the surface. The output of each laser source is synchronously deflected so as to repetitively sweep each output beam across the same region of the surface and thereby project a visible composite line that is, for example, transverse to the lateral sidelines of an athletic field. A controller comprising a synchronization module synchronizes the sweep frequency rate, at which the beams sweep the surface, to a scan rate of at least one camera arranged to receive an image of the composite temporary line.
